Good Food but Overpriced

We loved the seafood. The preparation was perfect and artfully prepared. However, we were surprised at how formal the restaurant was and how expensive everything was. This place was recommended by a friend and it proved to be a wonderful evening. We had a marvelous dinner from a wine-paired tasting menu. The service was top notch.

Great ambience - contemporary and comfortable, tables well-spaced. Wonderful food, good service. Would go back anytime.

We were really looking forward to this reservation and made it to celebrate our last night of a fabulous weekend to celebrate my daughter's birthday. It is a nice looking space, very classy and open. We were warmly greeted and there were many items on the menu I wanted to try, but the daily special of a NY steak sounded... More

Really nice menu, reasonable prices, great staff...just never quite makes it to the super "wow " . Too many wines for any rational person to make a choice but overall pretty solid choice.

There is no corkage fee for Sonoma County wines (any of them)! The food is wonderful and the menu is quite eclectic, changing regularly. The staff is very attentive, whether it be the water server, the fellow with the breads, or your main server. I wouldn't go to Healdsburg without a visit to Dry Creek Kitchen.

We have eaten here yearly since it opened. The atmosphere, service, and food consistently make this a fine dining experience. The Early Spring Tasting Menu was very good: not the most creative menu that we've had here but very enjoyable. And at $79 per person (plus $48 for wine pairing) this is a relative bargain for such an enjoyable evening.... More

We visited Healdsburg during Dry Creek Passport weekend, stayed at the Hotel Healdsburg and had a lovely meal at Dry Creek Kitchen with friends. I don't normally order chicken because I'm a good home cook and we eat it a lot at home. My chicken dish was outstanding as was my husbands pork chop entree and all the appetizers we... More

This is a great restaurant for upscale anniversary or birthday events. The wait staff is superb (I remember Georgio) and the food is good (I had fish). It is one of the few places where the music (live) is subdued enough that you can have a conversation without raising your voice. Romance is why you would go there. Plan on... More

A refreshing dinner for our group. Started with wine flights from Small Vines and spoke with the winemaker. Followed with the pan seared foie gras which was properly prepared, moist and full of flavor. Perfect! I had the duck breast, ordered medium rare but cooked a little over temperature. The flavor and texture was excellent. The sommelier recommended a gorgeous... More
