The food and atmosphere here is awesome. We each had a roasted cauliflower soup. The server placed three pieces of roasted cauliflower in our soup bowl and then poured the creamy soup on top of it. Yum! We also enjoyed sharing a ravioli and a salmon dish. Desserts are amazing as well. My husband... read more

We have been here many times over the years, but it has settled itself into a mediocre place with delusional grandeur. We went for a special occasion as part of a multi-day visit to Healdsburg. While the maitre'd was aware of our event, it never got transfered to the wait staff, so an op for a bit of fun was... More

We stayed at the Healdsburg Hotel for one night so dinner here was the simple option. Very enjoyable meal - probably should have commented less than six months after visiting to remember more details! - and very good service. The food was great but what really stood out was the variety of local wines and the knowledge of the staff... More

Outstanding menu and Sonoma only wines. Our dinner party of four were greeted by a pleasant host. Servers and staff were well trained. The interiors are warm and comfortable, the lighting is perfect. The foie gras starter was delicious, strip steak, duck, black cod, and pork chop are all standout mains.

The food preparation was excellent - flavor combinations, fresh ingredients, approachable presentation. The restaurant is upscale but relaxed.

I want to start by declaring that I really don't like tastings menus. Just give me regular sized entrees. I was taken there by some close friends who won the bid for dinner there at a charitable event. We all had the 4 course tastings menu. First course was sashimi tuna that had nothing going on besides raw tuna. Simple... More

service was good, bartender was excellent. Food was poor, and our entrees were cold, you could tell they were sitting in the window for a while. The bread ran out at 7pm, so they served day old bread instead, cold and stale. The wine list is excellent.

Charlie Palmer said he wanted an "elevated dining experience" when he brought on the new chef, Dustin Valette. The main thing that got elevated was the salt level in most of their food. The food was all very good, but the salt levels were really over-the-top. The new service model felt a little weird - three separate servers took our... More
