Always a favorite

I have been eating at IHops for over 30 years and I have never had a complaint. Basically the service and food are the same, since they are franchised. The Foothill location is busiest on Sunday mornings. The estimated wait time is 30 minutes but well worth the wait. We like to order the New... read more

We usually don't eat at IHOP but when you travel you eat what's out there to eat. Now I remember why. The food was ok, the service was ok, the bill was ridiculous coulda had a steak.

Everyone knows it is a sin to visit IHOP on Sunday morning. This is the busiest time. Nonetheless, we went before driving 6+ hours home. We were given a wait time of 30 minutes for our party of 8. After 30 minutes, we were told another 20 minutes. Huge disappointment, but like I said, It was Sunday morning so what... More

The first IHOP I went to was back in the 60's with the big bright blue steep chalet roof. Those roofs are nearly gone but the very good quality food and friendly service remains today. This one in Concord was across the street from our motel and had a huge menu of choices. Particularly enjoyable were the Slim & Fit... More

This Hayward IHOP is one of the older units which were built a bit smaller than the newly designed restaurants. On a Saturday morning, the place was packed and the waitress told us there was a 20 minute wait. That was just about right. My son and I enjoyed our Colorado omelettes. I "upgraded" my order to the new "Banana... More

We all have had IHOP at some point and this is right in the middle of the pack. Parking is a bit limited compared to many elsewhere, but typical for the Bay Area. Service was adequate but nothing to write home about. The food of course was served at appropriate temperatures and fairly promptly. IHOP is clearly not a five... More

We often go to IHOP on Sunday for breakfast. Love their crepes. The staff is really on the ball and the service is always great. Be prepared to wait for a table, but it is worth it.
