Cheap and filling

We had a burger with fries and the nutty nutty turkey with onion rings (about $20 for the entire meal). It was all very tasty. The food came out quick, the server was very friendly, and the restaurant itself was very clean. Nothing fancy but we'd come back.

I have ordered pancake with eggs that should be poaches and arrived at the table in a separate bowl with some cooking water in it, and overcooked. My pancake where with fruits, the waitress asked me which fruits i wanted and i said i was happy with anything..but i never thought i could have only apples and rock melon and... More

Stayed in the area and went here for dinner on the back of TripAdvisor, nothing else. The food was good (not outstanding) but excellent value for money, and the real draw here that gets my vote is the true authentic 50's American Diner experience. If you truly want to feel like you have had an encounter with a time machine,... More

A good TA find close to our hotel. Super friendly service and good food at good prices. Large menu. Real handy for LAX users. Don't pass up the flan.

An experience of a true 50-60's diner for some one from overseas. We both loved the decor, the service was very good, friendly and speedy. The crowning glory the food, the burger I had would have been one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. We had to go back a second time to enjoy the atmosphere of nostalgia.... More

We were staying at a hotel about 3 blocks away and this restaurant was referred to us by the hotel staff. The vegetarian breakfast was so so, but the rest of the food looked great. The place looked a bit worn, but the service was very efficient and staff extremely friendly. Great value. You will not walk away hungry!

Breakfasted by chance on the way to LAX via a parking spot. Came back for dinner when we landed. Breakfast was perfection, chicken fried steak to die for, & homemade navy bean & split pea soups just like Mom used to make.

The staff is friendly and if you speak Spanish, even more so. However the food and restaurant are average at best.

For non-Americans this is exactly what we picture an American diner to be, straight out of Happy Days! Time warp - although the super-friendly staff are Hispanic rather than matronly white women with beehive hairdo's, the music is 60's, the vinyl booths are in perfect condition and the food typical diner fare. Highly recommend a visit.

If this building and restaurant were in a different part of LA, it would be packed 24/7. Don't let the odd location stop you from enjoying this 1950's treat. My breakfast of eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy was just what the doctor ordered (OK, maybe the heart surgeon). I'll be back when ever I am in the area. Don't... More
