If this building and restaurant were in a different part of LA, it would be packed 24/7. Don't let the odd location stop you from enjoying this 1950's treat. My breakfast of eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy was just what the doctor ordered (OK, maybe the heart surgeon). I'll be back when ever I am in the area. Don't... More

Chips is great! Glad I found it and is close enough to LAX to make a diversion. The place is kept to hold that 50/60s charm and is a wonderful piece of history every tourist should check out. Inside is clean and nice the staff fast and friendly. My son and I ate the heuvos con chirizo which was great.... More

You can find us at Chips on the weekends for breakfast/lunch. Nice people, great food. A true 50's time capsule. The music is good, too!

This is a 50's diner restaurant located by the airport (and walking distance from our hotel). There is a variety of food on the menu. We went on a Tuesday night, which was not busy and so we had great service. The food is plentiful and cheap for what you get. It's not a fancy place but we enjoyed it.

This is a 50's/60's style place complete with period music playing. We were waited on by Ludwig who couldn't have been nicer. He took the time to chat a bit before taking our drink order. Great choice of cold bottled beer and my wife's wine glass was filled to the brim. We watched Ludwig prepare an old style milkshake for... More

They have a cheap waffle and egg. But if you want a tasty treat for under 10. stick to the white board with chef's specials as you walk in:-)

We were referred by an area hotel, and they didn't do this little gem justice. The atmosphere is so cool, the service was outstanding, the milkshakes and root beer floats were to die for. Our dinner was half the price of our lunch that day and twice as good! Recommend this diner! You have to eat here!
