Description: Mezzaluna Restaurant is located in the historic Princeton Landing building (which was built in 1908). The harbor town of Princeton By The Sea is located 20 miles south of San Francisco. In this scenic area of Half Moon Bay, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean, you can experience breathtaking coastal views and marvel at the giants waves of Mavericks surf spot. We provide nothing but the highest quality of meat, fish, produce, pasta and local fresh ingredients. Mezzaluna is continually awarded as Best Restaurant on the Coast and Best Customer Service. In 2012, Mezza Luna was awarded "Favorite Italian Restaurant" and in 2013 awarded "Favorite Overall Restaurant" and "Favorite Italian Restaurant" by the coastside community and the readers of the Half Moon Bay Review. In 2014 Mezza Luna was awarded by Open Table the "Dinners Choice Award". But it doesn't take an award to prove the quality and consistency of the great food, service and wine... You must experience it for yourself.

Excellent Italian Seafood restaurant, a combination you'll rarely find. This place is popular for a reason. Full menu of appetizers, pasta, and entrees. Great specials for fresh caught fish, straight from the waterfront. Nice ambience w/ beautiful fireplace. Full bar and excellent service.

We tried this restaurant at the recommendation of our Innkeeper in Carmel. He said it was one of his favorites, and we loved it! The food was very good, we had no reservation but were still seated promptly, and the staff was very pleasant. The salmon ravioli was absolutely delicious. The location isn't the best since it's not right on... More

The food was good however it wasn't the quiet evening we anticipated. Waited 10 minutes to be seated despite a reservation. Seated next to a large table of 10-12 diners. Loud yet happy environment. Lots of birthday celebrations, etc. Service is average.

Busy place - get reservations and you'll get right in. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. Food was delicious. The lasagna was melt in your mouth delicious. It is a popular place for groups, so if you are steered to a table with long tables set up for a group nearby I recommend you ask for another table. It... More

Very authentic Italian food. Many of the staff are from Sicily. At the HMB harbor. Many locals eat there and take their guests as it is usually very consistent. Can accommodate large groups. Can be overcrowded on weekends and service can be slow.

We've passed by this restaurant so many times over the years, when eating nearby at HMB Brewing Company, so when he finally had 5 days of "staycation," my son and I drove down from SF to enjoy what we had heard was a real Italian menu. We were able to get great parking right on the street in front of... More

Happened to be in the area for an art opening over the 4th of July weekend. While the receptionist was efficient, helpful and accommodating, the kitchen was obviously overloaded ( the restaurant was packed)! Our waiter was borderline rude, the food was average and we waited for an inordinate amount of time between courses. Surprisingly, the longest wait was after... More

Four of us for lunch on a Saturday. Wine selection good, beer selection poor. Service OK, but didn't write down the order so got it wrong. Entre of Beef fillet very pleasant. Clam mains tasty but small helping. Chocolate Mousse pudding rather solid and bullet like. Not charged for it fortunately. Bill rather over the top, and when a table... More

I enjoyed an excellent meal here with my mother. Our waiter Giovanni is from a town near ours in Sicilia, so we were able to converse in our dialect which made the experience even more enjoyable.
