Description: Mezzaluna Restaurant is located in the historic Princeton Landing building (which was built in 1908). The harbor town of Princeton By The Sea is located 20 miles south of San Francisco. In this scenic area of Half Moon Bay, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean, you can experience breathtaking coastal views and marvel at the giants waves of Mavericks surf spot. We provide nothing but the highest quality of meat, fish, produce, pasta and local fresh ingredients. Mezzaluna is continually awarded as Best Restaurant on the Coast and Best Customer Service. In 2012, Mezza Luna was awarded "Favorite Italian Restaurant" and in 2013 awarded "Favorite Overall Restaurant" and "Favorite Italian Restaurant" by the coastside community and the readers of the Half Moon Bay Review. In 2014 Mezza Luna was awarded by Open Table the "Dinners Choice Award". But it doesn't take an award to prove the quality and consistency of the great food, service and wine... You must experience it for yourself.

Had appetizers and drinks. The calamari was perfect. Light and crispy. The drinks were heavy on the pour and the decor of the restaurant was great. We will go back.

We visited during our road trip on the west coast and were staying overnight at the Harbour View so nothing more than a 5 minute walk to the restaurant. Our server Jose could not have been more welcoming and the food was prepared and served in the most perfect way. The medium rare T bone was recommended and it was... More

I recommend the Veal. My wife and I both had Veal and it was amazing. We brought our own wine ($15 corkage) . Get reservations and ask for a water view!

My husband & I had dinner at Mezza Luna's on New Year's Day. We were not disappointed. We split a Caesar salad (just needs a bit more anchovy flavor) & fried calamari, delicious! Both my lasgnae and his rib eye steak was great. And the finale was the custard filled bignes. They were great with hot coffee/tea. Service was exceptional!... More

Myself and three others ate here on New Year's Eve. The service was wonderful. The food was even better. I highly recommend this this place. We will definitely return!

We stayed a block from mezzaluna and didn't want to drive the five miles to downtown, so we walked here instead. We had a very good dinner. The service is a bit green, but pleasant. The white bean soup and calamari appetizer were just okay. Entrees and dessert were terrific. I had chicken breast stuffed with veggies. It was moist... More

We stopped in here to get a cup of coffee while walking around after lunch. I got the almond latte sugar free and it was great. They had all the accoutrements for coffee and I added cinnamon. It was great and it was wonderful to have some hot coffee to walk with since it was cool and windy that day.... More

Annually we go some place new for our anniversary. We love Half Moon Bay in general so we wanted to try a restaurant there. We really fell into something special and will probably come back for other special days. The place is not real easy to find because it's on Prospect one street below Route 1 a bit north of... More

This was our first visit as last time we were at Half Moon bay it was still the old shopping precinct. Unfortuntely the food did not live up to expectations - the pizzas were average. such ashame as the location and the interior are fabulous - but perhaps the issue, people go back becaue of that?
