Very good

Simple place with patio seating out the back too. Freshly prepared food, with the constant chopping of vegetables in your ears. Great falafels, salads.

Walking along Main Street in Half Moon Bay it is difficult to decide where to eat because there are so many choices. After our lunch at Chez Shea, my husband and I felt fortunate that this was our choice. The food is organic and met my vegetarian needs. Both my husband and I thought the food was delicious, reasonable, and... More

Walked around Half Moon Bay after an afternoon spent at the beach. Stumbled upon this restaurant as we were looking for a place to have a brunch and loved the cozy feeling this place was giving. the food there was amazing, I personally had the Shawarma Platter which was amazing and cooked with local products making the whole meal even... Discovered this place by chance as we were visiting Bay Area and stopped at the beach for the afternoon. Intrigued by the diverse menu we entered the place not sure what we were in for. The menu covers food from many universe from middle eastern shwarma to mexican tacos, italian minestrone and very british fish and chips....with one common ingredient... More

They have an interesting mix of menu items - whether carnivore, vegetarian or vegan - you can find healthy delicious options for everyone. The service is casual with menus given us at the table but you order at the counter.

I have eaten at Chez Shea twice now. First time was last October, after a trip to one of the Hwy 1 pumpkin patches. Big overstuffed pretty yummy sandwiches. service was straight forward, you just order at the counter and the food runner brought out the food. Recently we ate dinner there, and it was just awful. The place is... More

We stumbled upon Chez Shea after deciding we wanted to dine indoors after having too much sun for the day. We took a look at the menu at the door and decided that we could all find something to order. We ended up having a Beet Salad, a Thai Chicken Salad, and Eggs & Waffles- we laughed at the variety... Our family loves Chez Shea. My husband always orders the Shwarma platter. My favorites are the Mole Enchiladas and a vegetarian dish called Yakhnat al-Kudar. The menu description says Wood-roasted seasonal vegetables, simmered in a savory-spiced, light coconut broth with currants, served atop a blackeyed pea and eggplant melange. It's a great place to bring guests from out of town.

Although we've been here many times, this is the first time I ordered the Torta. It was a taste explosion - great flavors. I see reviews complaining about the service but we haven't had that experience. We especially enjoy sitting outside on the patio with our dog.

Chez Shea is great if you like the following: (1) Waiting 45 minutes for a burger and salad (2) After said wait, having your food arrive stone cold (3) Getting the wrong order after all that (4) Soggy, greasy, cold french fried. That said, the iced tea is pretty good. There are a lot of restaurants along Main Street and... More
