My girlfriend and I were walking Main Street and decided to try this little restaurant and glad we did. I had the swasue? Sandwich and it was great. My cousin came to town and I took her there the next night for dinner and had the shrimp with polenta in a wild mushroom sauce. The flavors were different and so... More

Rather eclectic menu, I had the That salad with prawns, my wife had the taco salad. Both were quite unique and good. Only downside was having to stand in line to order. Food was delivered to table. Nice quiet patio dining also.

Although Pumpkin Festival was still several weeks away Half Moon Bay was very busy on our day trip there from San Mateo. After walking up and down Main Street this restaurant looked the most promising and we were not disappointed. I had the Turkish Scramble, which was a bit too salty for my taste and she had the fajitas, which... More

Loved the vegan vegetable curry and the raspberry sorbet. The fact that this was a popular spot with locals was the best part though. (I was eavesdropping, sorry!) Not a tourist trap at all. Just good food in a cozy casual atmosphere.

Stumbled into this place while passing through Half Moon Bay and i was just one of those places that just smacks of 'right' when you walk in the door! The staff were all friendly and obviously happy to be there; the chefs were busy but in control and when the food turned up I was amazed - I thought I... More

My friend and I were on a day trip to Half Moon Bay and asked one of the locals where to eat. She recommended Chez Shea so we went there. The service was great, the food was great, the atmosphere was so, so although we sat at the window and enjoyed people watching. My friend had the minestra soup which... More

I just had my first lunch here, and I loved it. I had a vegan butternut squash soup with wonderful flavors, and then the ceviche tostada, which was just as good. Highly recommended, and I can't wait to eat there again.

My wife and I were on a day's road trip from our home in Marin County and met a friend here, who recommended it. Nice seating out back in the patio. I had the fish and chips, which were excellent. Really fresh white fish and a nice, light batter. The fries were excellent, nice and crispy and not overly oily.... More

We are locals and noticed this place many times in the past but last night we decided to try it and after the experience we decided not to return. Here is why- we saw all the tables were occupied so we waited and waited and were about to leave when I noticed a sign stating there was seating in the... More

A cross between Mexican and Middle Eastern, this little gem in the middle of Main Street in downtown Half Moon Bay, surprised us with it variety of flavors and excellent friendly attentive service. We have 4 items from the tapas part of the menu. The middle eastern platter was fabulous and the accompanying pita was fresh and warm and soft... More
