Good Food and Surprising Variety!

We stumbled upon Chez Shea after deciding we wanted to dine indoors after having too much sun for the day. We took a look at the menu at the door and decided that we could all find something to order. We ended up having a Beet Salad, a Thai Chicken Salad, and Eggs & Waffles- we laughed at the... read more

I have eaten at Chez Shea twice now. First time was last October, after a trip to one of the Hwy 1 pumpkin patches. Big overstuffed pretty yummy sandwiches. service was straight forward, you just order at the counter and the food runner brought out the food. Recently we ate dinner there, and it was just awful. The place is... More

Our family loves Chez Shea. My husband always orders the Shwarma platter. My favorites are the Mole Enchiladas and a vegetarian dish called Yakhnat al-Kudar. The menu description says Wood-roasted seasonal vegetables, simmered in a savory-spiced, light coconut broth with currants, served atop a blackeyed pea and eggplant melange. It's a great place to bring guests from out of town.

Although we've been here many times, this is the first time I ordered the Torta. It was a taste explosion - great flavors. I see reviews complaining about the service but we haven't had that experience. We especially enjoy sitting outside on the patio with our dog.

Chez Shea is great if you like the following: (1) Waiting 45 minutes for a burger and salad (2) After said wait, having your food arrive stone cold (3) Getting the wrong order after all that (4) Soggy, greasy, cold french fried. That said, the iced tea is pretty good. There are a lot of restaurants along Main Street and... More

Warning: ask if they have it before your order. The couple next to us waited 20 minutes and we waited 35 minutes before the waiter came back to both of us and said they were all out. Really? Making another choice; this time I asked what else are they out of and he rattled off 5 more dishes. Glad I... More

After being in half moon bay's traffic we decided to find a restaurant for late lunch. The food was superb, amazing. It was kind of sweet but loved the whole food. It had a special character, although the service was awful we asked for bread or extra rice, which we never got, the staff were friendly but maybe their knowledge... More

We enjoyed the food for lunch. We were 4 of us and ordered 3 varieties. My husband and I ordered one fish and shrimp fajitas to share. The fish and shrimp was grilled to perfection with a little spices and mild hot. Lots of grilled veggies like zuchini, pepper and onion. One ordered the east west fish tacos. It was... More

My girlfriend and I were walking Main Street and decided to try this little restaurant and glad we did. I had the swasue? Sandwich and it was great. My cousin came to town and I took her there the next night for dinner and had the shrimp with polenta in a wild mushroom sauce. The flavors were different and so... More
