I just had my first lunch here, and I loved it. I had a vegan butternut squash soup with wonderful flavors, and then the ceviche tostada, which was just as good. Highly recommended, and I can't wait to eat there again.

My wife and I were on a day's road trip from our home in Marin County and met a friend here, who recommended it. Nice seating out back in the patio. I had the fish and chips, which were excellent. Really fresh white fish and a nice, light batter. The fries were excellent, nice and crispy and not overly oily.... More

We are locals and noticed this place many times in the past but last night we decided to try it and after the experience we decided not to return. Here is why- we saw all the tables were occupied so we waited and waited and were about to leave when I noticed a sign stating there was seating in the... More

A cross between Mexican and Middle Eastern, this little gem in the middle of Main Street in downtown Half Moon Bay, surprised us with it variety of flavors and excellent friendly attentive service. We have 4 items from the tapas part of the menu. The middle eastern platter was fabulous and the accompanying pita was fresh and warm and soft... More

A wonderful "find" in downtown Half Moon Bay ~ with good food, lots of choices and the most exceptional service. My Mom and I shared two salads and each had a different glass of local wine on the little patio in the back and experienced such exceptional service I had to write here. Additionally, I inadvertently dropped my wallet under... More

Don't go to Chez Shea expecting French food. I don't really know how to describe Chez's food, but my roasted chicken was good, but it was served with a side of reheated frozen veggies and some sort of instant mashed potatoes. Not great.

Our server was so inviting and prompt. The food was eclectic and delicious. Wish the seating was a little more comfortable but overall it was a great dinner.

Inside and outside seating. Interesting menu choices, at least for lunch. Never had a bad meal here.

After a short hike on the beach, we stopped at this small but wonderful restaurant on Main Street. Chez Shea is popular with tourists and locals alike. The menu leans toward the "healthy" side, with dishes ranging from Mexican to Middle Eastern - I had the chicken enchiladas which were excellent. Atmosphere is small town café, but the variety and... This little touched away eatery is excellent. I love the exotic ethnic cuisine offered. Usually, I go for The curry no matter where I am, but last night I opted for something milder, the chicken with mashed potatoes and, wait I'm drooling just remembering, with mushroom gravy. Yum yum yum! The pumpkin curry soup, there I DID have curry! Was... More
