Great fish tacos and their own lager

1 hour for a table outside and it was beautiful weather. But we settled for an inside table because it was only a 30 minute wait. We then realized we should have signed in for a table before the picture taking. I love fish tacos with the guacamole yummy. My friends also tried their crab roll and... read more

Stopped by for lunch. Enjoyed an amber and an IPA with the lunch special. Ceviche, potato skins. Friendly service. Recommended.

If you want a brew pub, this is a good option for you. However, I have never liked the food and since there are so many other restaurants nearby with better food, I no longer eat here when food is the main event. If you want beer and bar food, this is fine.

setting: Cozy deck right by the street with through traffic and splendid view on the ocean. They have patio heaters and the tables are accommodating. Brews: Pale Ale, IPA very good and tasty. Kölsch - well, being from Cologne, I can tell you how Kölsch tastes - definitely not like a blonde Lager ... service: Well, I get it, you... More

My wife and I ate a lovely al fresco meal on a chilly September Sunday evening, sitting outside under one of the gas warmers, looking out over the Pacific Ocean, listening to a wonderful blues band ( playing inside but way loud enough to hear from our table ). Whilst my wife drank wine I was able to sample most... More

This place was recommended by the hostel staff where we were staying. There was live music playing in the bar but when we arrived there was absolutely no room to squeeze in. The wait for the restaurant was lengthy, too. So we had to go somewhere else. Oh well.

There is no place better in Half Moon Bay to sit outside, have a casual meal and enjoy the beach view in my opinion. The Kobe burger and beer are delicious. Because the atmosphere is ideal, there is often a long wait if you don't have reservations. I went there on a Sunday at 2:30 pm on a beautiful day... More

My wife and I decided to do a brewery tour (based, in part, on an article in the Jan Jose Mercury News). We started in Monterey with Peter B's - excellent, with good variety. Continued up the coast ending at Half Moon Bay. It was Sunday morning, so we wisely made reservations through Open Table. We usually try samplers to... More

We came in for a late lunch. We ordered the nachos for an appetizer. They were very odd -- the beans were on the bottom. Not great -- not terrible. I order the clam chowder. It was luke warm at best - and tasted like a soup from a can. My husband had the brat pops -- they had way... More

Worst grilled artichokes I have had in more than 40 different states. never had gritty mushroom soup without any mushrooms. steamed clams not cleaned properly(very sandy) dangerous to teeth, with strange items added. Nothing like any steamed clams I have had in multiple states on both coasts. HORRIBLE! Only item of eatable quality---KOBE BURGER! Unless you want a way overpriced... More
