Would certainly recommend and will definitely return next time I'm in the area. Great service, great bartender, fresh nicely prepared food.

It's the only thing I can comment on, but it is very good, and its a great location right at the edge of the harbor. You can walk down and walk out on the jetty before or after you eat.

The view was the best part of our lunch. We were outside overlooking the ocean - could not get much better. Food was great - prawn cocktail, fried oysters, clam chowder, and more. My only complaint was service - the waitress seemed to disappear at times and the food took a while to arrive. I would go back again though.

We had a lovely lunch here, the food is great and the staff are friendly and very welcoming to dogs! We had a nice meal and they even brought a huge water bowl out for our dog, who appreciated it on the hot day we were there! Great staff who go above and beyond :)

We stopped here for lunch and had great fish (seabass with lentilles, and lobster sandwich). I thought it was delicious and i'm happy we happened to make a stop here on our roadtrip. We did not have a reservation but we did not have to wait for a table. Great place.

this place has very good food, very good view of pacific, but seated outside exposes you screaming children climbing all over things. the noise was so loud my wife and i had to speak loudly to hear each other. they ignored their mom and the wait staff did nothing. they should offer an adults only section for couples who want to... Sam's Chowder House is on our list of favorites now. Dining outside offers a wonderful waterfront view. Multiple patio heaters and a fire pit provide warmth and ambience. Our waiter was superb, but the star of the show was the lobster roll. At $22, we had almost decided against it, because how could a mere sandwich be worth that? But... More

We stopped by for lunch. We didn't have a reservation. Party of four. We were told it would be a 25 minute wait but it was more like a 1hr 25 minute wait. The food was ok, the views were nice and it ends there. Not sure if it's because the place it too busy, too big but the service was... More

Busy place - make reservations, we did and were immediately seated. Large outdoor and indoor seating capacity. The chowder was wonderful. I asked the waitress for a suggestion - she said the salmon was at it's best right now - she was so right. It was the best salmon I have ever eaten. My husband had the stuffed prawns and... More
