I have to say that overall I was disappointed in the lunch I had at the Flying Fish this afternoon. I was expecting flavorful local favorites but instead got mediocre fare. I decided to start with crab cake since these are a favorite of mine and I have tasted them all over the country. These were by far the least... More

Nice stop for lunch on our way from San Francisco to Carmel. Split a great seafood combination platter. Nice atmosphere for a low key place. Good, fast service. Reasonable prices.

We are at Flying Fish today for lunch - my date had grilled Mahi tacos - delicious! I had seafood cioppino - very hot but the seafood was fresh and plentiful. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a casual lunch or dinner.

Excellent food, especially the dish tacos. Enjoyed the margarita and the bartender, Eddie, was fabulous. Friendly owner.

This is a very comfortable and casual restaurant and bar. Wonderful Fish Tacos (my wife's favorite) and don't miss their Crabby Cheesy Bread (the name says it all). I also love their California Wrap. Actually, we haven't had anything we haven't liked there.

Family members wanted some seafood on a drive to Half Moon Bay. After some research, found this place and decided to give it a try. We ordered and shared the Boston Clam Chowder, Crab Salad, Seafood Cioppino, and the Seared Scallops. The clam chowder was disappointing as the cream base was falling apart as you can see the oil separating... More

And don't forget to have a blood orange margarita and the pineapple upside down cake with pinapple coconut ice cream! I'm still dreaming of this meal and wish I didn't live on the other coast because it will be some time before I can have this meal again. There are fancier places in Half Moon Bay and places with the... More

Wanted to echo all the good things said about this restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food is great. It's good to have the option of grilled fish as well as fried - something other rated (and grease perfumed) fish restaurants in the area should consider. Tacos highly recommended - have the additional avocado. And don't miss the bread... More

We love stopping by here for a margarita and fish tacos. They are the best fish tacos ever, you just have to try them and see if you have had any better ones. The staff is great, and it is located by 92 and Main Street.

Tonight my husband and another couple ate at the Flying Fish Grill, and everything about it was terrific -- the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the value vs. similar restaurants in the area. All our dishes were excellent, but the grilled scallops that two of us had were really terrific!
