Driving up the coast we stopped here on the later side for supper one evening. The seared shrimp with cilantro sauce was very good, but the dish could have used a bit more of the sauce. My partner's Asian Salmon was excellent. Dessert was key lime pie (divine) and pineapple upside down cake (large portion but tasty indeed!). Service was... More

On the way to SFO from our Honeymoon in Carmel.. Great food and service. You must have the cheesy, craby, garlic bread!! We had the fish tacos and the salmon sandwich... This place is tucked behind signs and road is busy so. Pay close attention , if you miss it, turn around it's well worth the effort!!

We asked Siri for restaurants in Half Moon Bay, and this was the top rated. The food was fresh, flavorful and filling. It is a seafood house but not being a seafood lover I got chicken Marsala! It was excellent! My husband got the crab melt, toasted sourdough and fresh crabmeat are still being craved by him. One thing worth... More

My husband and I visited Half Moon Bay recently. We stopped in to have lunch, and had a delicious lunch. The salads were wonderful, along with our fish tacos. Really enjoyed our meal, and the wait staff were so pleasant and friendly! Definitely will return if we are ever in the area.

The atmosphere was very good, although there isn't much of a view… just a busy highway. The wait staff was very at tentative and helpful and the food was very good. I had fish and chips and the portions are generous and the fish was cooked perfectly. Personally, I prefer a lighter batter but this was more like an English... More

My husband and I loved the fish taco plate. Mani, cod and scallops, fantastic! We also got slightly jealous of everyone else's dish!

The service was outstanding. The food came out very quickly. The food was very tasty. My wife and I both tried the fish tacos. The cod and the prawn tacos were outstanding. We really did not need to get the guacamole with our tacos.

Really good food and service at decent prices. I had fish and chips and my wife had the Caribbean Cod Wrap. Good stuff!

We found ourselves in Half Moon Bay driving down Hwy 1 from SF to San Jose. We were hungry but didnt want "fast" food. A quick check on Yelp showed this place with lots of good reviews. Lots of options on their menu and everything seemed pretty reasonably priced. My friend and I ordered an assortment of tacos. I had... More

The flying fish bills itself as an upscale "dive" and comes across as a very practical and well run fish restaurant near the half moon bay town center. Reservations were accepted. Ordered Meals were a shrimp skewer and gluten free swordfish. The Menu presented the swordfish as Gluten Free but the first bite revealed soy sauce. Upon inquiry the chef... More
