Great fish tacos and cioppino!

Stopped here for lunch on a foggy week day in HMB. Great garlic bread, cioppino, and fish tacos with lots of flavor. Service was just fine. Great place to eat lunch.

My husband and I stopped here while on a weekend getaway. We've been here before, but we had forgotten how good the food really is. My husband got the captain's plate and I go the chicken club sandwich. Other than getting a very new waitress who seemed nervous and a bit forgetful, it was a great experience. The seafood on... First time I came: excellent service, delicious food. Second time: Server could not remember anything, and the food was awful. Awful. I haven't been back since.

The first place we stopped on our way to the hotel. Great food; great service; you have to try the crab and cheese French bread. The menu is full of delicious selections. I had the crab sandwich, yum, and my daughter had the fish and chips.

We really enjoyed our lunch at the Flying Fish Grill. Saw the review on tripadvisor and gave it a try. Our appetizer was sinfully good, crab and cheese garlic bread. I ordered the Grilled ahi tuna salad and was so surprised to see as much tuna as I did! It was a very generous serving and perfectly cooked. My fiance... More

I haven't been here since the original Flying Fish was a taco stand off a fish market on 92 and Main. I went there FOR the fish tacos. Had some clam chowder that was just OK for $5.95.. ouch for a cup and nothing special to boot. Ice tea was weak and we never were asked if we wanted refills.... More

We are so glad we read the reviews and stopped here. It is tucked away off the main drag but easy to get to. The fish tacos were great, the fish and chips was fresh and not greasy and flacked off beautifully. A neighboring table ordered the combo fish platter which was so large they shared it and looked wonderful.... More

Loved everything! Couldn't decide if we wanted to stay and eat it there (husband wanted to but the wine in the hotel room was calling). Told the waitress of our dilemma, she assured as she could wrap it up and we'd eat it hot! She suggested the omg spectacular crabby cheesy garlic bread appetizer, salads and the making my mouth... Hungrily on look-out for somewhere to eat, early on a Sunday evening, turned into Half Moon Bay and saw the Flying Fish. Liked cosy decor (split into small individual areas), impressed by friendliness of server Joe, and really enjoyed some good food - shared a well loaded cheesy garlic bread, then fish & chips for one, and clam & prawn... We tried the Flying Fish Grill based on good reviews. We were not disappointed. The Seafood Paella was delicious. The fish taco was very good, with lots of good flavor. The shrimp salad with raspberry vinaigrette was very good too. They have a good selection of beer and wine and serve a very tasty Bloody Mary.
