Delicious sandwiches and salads in a casual environment with outdoor seating. Ingredients are fresh and portions generous. Reasonably priced for the quality of the food.

The street level Deli is the feature. Wife and I always get our sandwiches on their homemade 'walnut/olive' bread, she loves the turkey, I get the pastrami. Prices are very reasonable and the lines are usually long. So for the best experience get there before 11:30 a.m. for lunch. They are always pleasant and helpful making the sandwiches as you... More

This was the best sandwich EVER, EVER, EVER!! Fresh bread, thickly sliced, with all the fixings! Yummy, Yummy. We took our sandwich to the bar that is connected and had an outstanding beer with this outstanding sandwich. They also have a very nice patio area with a fire pit (no beers out there), but we wanted a beer. Get over... More

Stopped in the San Benito House to grab something to drink after a long road trip and use the restrooms. I noticed they served food so I thought we could grab a small bite and get on with our day. The Staff greeted us warmly and were all too happy to explain items on their menu. After much deliberation, we... More

We picked up sandwiches for our hike in Butano State Park. We were lucky as there was no one there when we entered and just a few minutes later the place was busy. The staff are quick though and orders are filled quickly. The walnut and olive bread was a good choice for the sandwich. Portions are generous so if... More

We had so much at this bar. We happened upon this bar while we were walking downtown while it was raining. The bartenders were so friendly! Also, the manager was very nice. My husband wanted to buy cigars and she opened up their shop and he was able to buy some. We would probably say that this was probably the... More

We were looking for lunch along old historic Highway 1, Main St and decided to check out the authentic looking San Benito House and Inn. Oddly designed on a relic old HMB family parcel, finding the actual restaurant and beer hall is confusing. Enter from the side street, Mill St, where there is more parking. Along Main on the same... Dropped in for lunch and a beer. V friendly service, good food and chatty customers. Well worth a visit. The prohibition ale on draft was an excellent recommendation.

We absolutely loved the San Benito House! The atmosphere is excellent, with historical photos, vibrant bar scene, pool tables and a beautiful huge patio outback. The servers and bar tenders were really friendly and informative about the history of Half Moon Bay. We actually visited the bar three times during our trip, once for lunch (awesome sandwiches & calamari), once... More
