Delicious sandwiches

Stopped here after a visit to Pescadero State Beach for some great sandwiches on truly delicious home-baked breads. The whole wheat was perfect, the olive-walnut had a nice tang. Sandwiches are infinitely customizable. You can eat on the outdoor patio or inside in the historic saloon.

Been here several times. Most hearty homemade bread, especially love the walnut olive. With hot pastrami, cannot beat the value, and the outdoor patio is quaint place for picnic setting. Also highly recommend their cream of artichoke soup.

My wife and I dropped in at the end of the day for a beer. It was busy and there were no spaces at the bar. A local guy hanging with some friends offered us his spot. We accepted and soon I had another chair and we could sit together. Seems pretty friendly to me. Yes this is a local... More

Bar and local patrons priority here. Dont expect service. You must go to the bar to order. You must go to the bar to pick up order. Half of the food was cold not hot. Portions small. The half that was hot was fine but a bit too greasy. Fabulous patio outside to sit and enjoy with the weather permitting.... More

The staff were unfriendly and unreasonable. I was with a group of friends when they decided to stop serving our group claiming that they had an "incident" with a couple of us. Which I understand, but the bartender (female) was very keen on showing us her disgust. I had ONE drink and was trying to get another, but was refused.... More

Delicious sandwiches and salads in a casual environment with outdoor seating. Ingredients are fresh and portions generous. Reasonably priced for the quality of the food.

The street level Deli is the feature. Wife and I always get our sandwiches on their homemade 'walnut/olive' bread, she loves the turkey, I get the pastrami. Prices are very reasonable and the lines are usually long. So for the best experience get there before 11:30 a.m. for lunch. They are always pleasant and helpful making the sandwiches as you... This was the best sandwich EVER, EVER, EVER!! Fresh bread, thickly sliced, with all the fixings! Yummy, Yummy. We took our sandwich to the bar that is connected and had an outstanding beer with this outstanding sandwich. They also have a very nice patio area with a fire pit (no beers out there), but we wanted a beer. Get over... More

Stopped in the San Benito House to grab something to drink after a long road trip and use the restrooms. I noticed they served food so I thought we could grab a small bite and get on with our day. The Staff greeted us warmly and were all too happy to explain items on their menu. After much deliberation, we... More
