Description: The Historic Miramar Beach Restaurant & Bar has a long and colorful...
The Historic Miramar Beach Restaurant & Bar has a long and colorful history going back more than 70 years. It was originally designed and built as a Prohibition speakeasy to serve the liquor smuggled into the Bay Area through a drop off point on Miramar Beach. We have kept the historical ambiance and decor of the 1920s including an incomparable collection of photos from the era. With only a frontage road between us and the beautiful Pacific Ocean, we have the number one view and sunset on the Coast side. Check out our website at www.miramarbeachrestaurant.com.

This restaurant has the most amazing vibe - elegant and relaxed at the same time. Sitting right over Miramar Beach, every table has some view! Coming in late one night, a few minutes before closing, the hostess... More

Love the dining room and the outside dining spaces as well. Service is good. Food is solid. We sat outside where we could see and hear the ocean, whats not to like about that!

We sat outside near the fire pit and had a couple of glasses of white wine and watched the huge pelicans nose dive into the ocean for fish. We didn't have anything to eat but by looking at the food on other diners plates it looked good. Great place to have dinner and watch the sunset.

I had the clam chowder and artichoke cakes and then the sorbet dessert. I loved it all. The three small items were perfect for me. My husband had the New York Steak. He loved it. It was cooked perfectly. He had the apple pie a la mode. It cost a bit ($70.00 for both of us), but was a very... More

We stopped for a late lunch on a Monday afternoon while driving between Santa Cruz and Marin. We had had a big breakfast but just wanted something light to hold us over until dinner. We were given a nice table at the window and enjoyed watching the waves and the birds driving into the ocean as we ate. My husband... More

Being here with a large group I won't fault them too much for the slow service. Views were wonderful, especially the sunset. Martini was poor. clam chowder was pretty good. Seafood Paella was terrible. Very little seafood and no flavor. Chocolate Fondant was ok but it's hard to make chocolate taste bad. Overall, I wish I had skipped the dinner... More

I have been to Miramar Beach restaurant many times over the past fifteen years. We went in December; it had been a few years since our last visit, so it was nice to see the outdoor seating area had been added. It was sunny with a cold breeze, but the area is well protected without sacrificing the view. Service was... More

Had lunch here with the wife on a weekend getaway. Perfect setting and atmosphere. Great views of the ocean. Great seafood. Loved the guy on the piano. Would definitely recommend to all.

This is one of the ocean front places in HMB that is a long standing tradition. Lots of history! I have watched the building change through the more than 30years going there. Much for the better! I still enjoy the food and ambience of the wonderful sunsets! They have a great Thursday menu you must try. Since it is loved... More

This is a favorite place for my wife and I to go when we visit Half Moon Bay. On a nice day, the patio seating can't be beat. Ocean front, and food is reasonable and good.
