Description: The Historic Miramar Beach Restaurant & Bar has a long and colorful history going back more than 70 years. It was originally designed and built as a Prohibition speakeasy to serve the liquor smuggled into the Bay Area through a drop off point on Miramar Beach. We have kept the historical ambiance and decor of the 1920s including an incomparable collection of photos from the era. With only a frontage road between us and the beautiful Pacific Ocean, we have the number one view and sunset on the Coast side. Check out our website at www.miramarbeachrestaurant.com.

We so enjoyed our visit for Sunday brunch to Miramar Beach Restaurant in Half Moon Bay. Great town, lots of history at the restaurant. The service was great, sat by the window inside but next time will hopefully enjoy their patio, which is lovely. Nice views. The seafood chowder is a must. Although I love crab melts, mine was so... This place could be so much better if they updated decor and improved the food. It's probably more of a locals place but it could be so much more. We had fish tacos which were so bland compared to SoCal tacos and had way to much plain mayo on them. I would go back for lack of variety in half... More

Nice casual atmosphere. Outdoor seating accepts pets! Great steaks and daily seafood special. We always recommend this place to visiting friends.

We stopped in here last week and almost left. The restaurant does not serve meals between 3-4:30 and we were in between. However, my dad decided this is the place. We are glad he did. Even though we could not order off the main menu, we could order appetizers, soups, and salads. My wife and I shared the Seafood Chowder.... More

We were so delighted by this restaurant... It was beachy casual, yet sophisticated with a great piano player. We missed lunch with our friends due to traffic, so we just happened to stop. The food was terrific, the view couldn't be any better and the piano player added nice ambiance. We enjoyed it so much, that we stopped the next... More

Our flight was delay so we got in late, the paella was excellent, the ceviche was delicious, the view perfect as well as very good service. Defiantly a Greta place to stop.

On the pier of Santa Cruz, drive or walk, you will find different restaurants for different needs. We chose the Miramar simply beacuse the have some kind of outside seatings, not the best and nicest but at least outside in fresh air. Choose seafood grill and enjoy. They have Mexican beer, drinks and local beer. There were more restaurants to... More

This is a really nice place, which nonetheless is relaxed. I had some great fish tacos. Dogs are welcome. Outside there is a patio bar, with couches and firepits, as well as regular tables. Great view of the beach and water. I didn't see any whales nor dolphins, though apparently, you often can.

Food is OK but nothing to write home about. And on a chilly day, it's probably best avoided. But when you're sitting outside on a lovely day and watching a whale and dolphins saunter by and seals frolic just off shore, it's pretty amazing. (We don't get much of that in Minnesota.) Do check the local weather before you go... More
