Description: The Historic Miramar Beach Restaurant & Bar has a long and colorful...
The Historic Miramar Beach Restaurant & Bar has a long and colorful history going back more than 70 years. It was originally designed and built as a Prohibition speakeasy to serve the liquor smuggled into the Bay Area through a drop off point on Miramar Beach. We have kept the historical ambiance and decor of the 1920s including an incomparable collection of photos from the era. With only a frontage road between us and the beautiful Pacific Ocean, we have the number one view and sunset on the Coast side. Check out our website at www.miramarbeachrestaurant.com.

Dolphins performing below a gorgeous ocean sunset.......

The Miramar Hotel Restaurant is a very pleasant destination for any night dining. We are locals, and have been to this establishment more times than to any other on the coast because we know that we can be assured of a good meal, excellent servers, and the unbeatable view of the Pacific Ocean... read more

The food doesn't sync up well with the view. We got an unobstructed view of the ocean and it was spectacular. The food was only so-so. My fish was fresh but overpowered by "blackening". It was too much for the mild flavored white sea bass. The rice was not tasty. Plenty of asparagus completed the plate. Our server was pleasant... More

Nice place to go without a reservation. Cozy atmosphere with pretty good food. I liked the seafood chowder and the prawns were very good. My girlfriend had the Scottish salmon and it was very good as well. Can't beat he view.

The atmosphere is fantastic for several various modes. If you want formal dining make a reservation for a window table and you will enjoy fine linen and service with great food. If you want a relaxed bar atmosphere choose to sit in the back or around the large bar and try the appetizers, I recommend the peanut sauce chicken skewers... More

This is one of our go to places near half moon bay. The food is always great and the restaurant site right across the road from Miramar Beach. Good for a romantic meal or a casual get together with friends on the dog friendly deck or at the bar.

We made reservations for lunch which is a good idea. People were lined up 20 minutes before it opened. We asked for and got a table by the window. It was a bit chilly for the outdoor patio. The service was slow but it was interesting watching the people walk by on the way to the beach, the ocean views... More

A little to high end for the area and closed early. Our server was fantastic but the menu was less than desirable.

We stayed in HMB for two nights and ate there both nights. Delicious but expensive! I ordered the special which turned out to be $75. It was good but pricey. It has the ambiance, a piano man was playing, it was full of people and I would go back!!

We sat in front with the view and fire pit. The garlic cheesy bread was so good! I had the Cajun halibut, delicious. Amazing views. Watched a pod of dolphins swim by.

Everything we had was good - artichoke cakes were amazing! Salad was yummy and fish tacos were great.
