Description: The Historic Miramar Beach Restaurant & Bar has a long and colorful...
The Historic Miramar Beach Restaurant & Bar has a long and colorful history going back more than 70 years. It was originally designed and built as a Prohibition speakeasy to serve the liquor smuggled into the Bay Area through a drop off point on Miramar Beach. We have kept the historical ambiance and decor of the 1920s including an incomparable collection of photos from the era. With only a frontage road between us and the beautiful Pacific Ocean, we have the number one view and sunset on the Coast side. Check out our website at www.miramarbeachrestaurant.com.

Great location, okay food

We sat outside on the patio and had great views of the ocean. They had a lot of heat lamps which was nice. The food was good, but nothing memorable. But definitely worth trying.

We stayed next door at Landis and had a blast out on the beach patio with a great view while we ate.

An amazing location. The Plexiglas shield keeps the wind out and the fire-pit tables keep you warm! The food was good, but the location was great!

Wanted to love everything about this place. A short walk from Cypress Inn, I was Disappointed in the quality of the food. Overcooked artichoke with uninspired aioli and "parmesan encrusted Halibut . YAY, the Halibut was locally caught, sadly, overcooked. I'd return for appetizers. The Live Piano music was fabulous.

Stayed at the Cypress Inn, just up the street...enjoyed good seafood, and friendly service, in a nice setting...noticed that I'd forgotten my credit card, the next morning...went to the restaurant to enquire, and nothing found...but, took my name and phone number...called my latter the net day, to say they found my card...nice touch....highly recommend for good food....and, integrity...

Meh. It was just ok. The staff was pleasant and the food was average. The ocean view from the patio is stellar. I think the best time to go would be happy hour to enjoy the patio fire and ocean with friends.

We ate here on a recent trip to CA. The view was great as it is right on the beach. We got a seat by the window which we had requested. I had the Shrimp and Bay Scallops Past and my wife had the fish special. Both were very good. The Seafood Soup was excellent. The location was awesome and... More

Nice dinner with a terrific atmosphere. Beautiful view of the ocean and the seagulls diving into the ocean. Food was very nice. And service was totally perfect. Thanks for a nice meal and time.

The food doesn't sync up well with the view. We got an unobstructed view of the ocean and it was spectacular. The food was only so-so. My fish was fresh but overpowered by "blackening". It was too much for the mild flavored white sea bass. The rice was not tasty. Plenty of asparagus completed the plate. Our server was pleasant... More

Nice place to go without a reservation. Cozy atmosphere with pretty good food. I liked the seafood chowder and the prawns were very good. My girlfriend had the Scottish salmon and it was very good as well. Can't beat he view.
