I've been going to Barbara's for years......I make a trip over to Barbara's Fishtrap at least every 3 months.....I love the setting...the service is great....and the fish and chips are wonderful.....last time I indulged in a piece of the carrot cake that had to be some of the best carrot cake I've even eaten....I've brought a number of people to... Had not been there in years, so we went for dinner. Were told it was a 30 minute to 45 minute wait, but we checked in after 25 minutes and got seated as others had left. The zucchini tempura appetizer was good, but did not care for the clam chowder. Had garlic scallops with rice for 27.00. Scallops were tender... More

This is a funky shack that has fabulous sea food. The portions are very generous. You cannot make reservations however it is well worth a visit. If you can sit outside or by a window you should get a lovely view of the sea. The views are beautiful as the sun sets. The staff were so friendly and helpful and... More

It sits right on the water and has fresh fish galore. Not fancy, but good food. It's been in the area many many years for a good reason.

Large portions and good value for the price. Fresh fish. Do not try the non-fish items like chicken as it is greasy.

This small and colorful restaurant has been at harbor for over 50 years. It sits over the water so you get a real feeling of being at the beach. Anything you order will be fantastic. Good choice of deep fried appetizers, many choices of fresh fish and great chowder. There is inside seating that is close and cozy. There is... More

This small fish restaurant is just fabulous. Its atmospheric and cosy, the staff were lovely and the fish and chips was first class. The view over the harbour is gorgeous, especially at sunset. Loved it and wish I could go back every week.

Family-friendly place, great chowder. We were seated right away, and the waiter was very gracious as our children were dropping food (1 and 2 yrs old, learning to eat). Great seafood!

Busy, busy restaurant. They also have take out. Garlic Crab Bread was wonderful! Tempuras are light and not greasy.
