Based on the reviews at TripAdvisor we decided to eat at this place. The food is so-so, not bad but nothing to rave about it or to merit a return trip. The place is crowded and good luck trying to find a parking spot plus they only take cash. The prices are a bit too high for the food you... More

It's American seafood cooked the old-fashioned way, and if you like that kind of food, it's Great! It was a disappointment for us and throughout the night, the food just sat like a lead weight in our stomachs.

We have gone here for years but no longer to the restaurant. We use their very convenient take out window and go eat by the water. No longer cheap, but still worth it when you are driving Highway 1.

I was here last week and was reminded of how much I love this place. Barb's is right in the hart of Princeton and has been a local hang out for ages. I like to go on the weekend and hit the food stand they have outside of the restaurant proper. Where you can have a beer and a basket... More

We had a great dinner at this friendly little restaurant on the water. The place was clean, small but not cramped and service was excellent.

With a view of the boats in the harbor at Pillar Point in Half Moon Bay, this is a very casual place where you can feast on delicious fresh fish. The fish and chips is amazing with a light crunchy batter and sweet tasting fish. The pacific halibut was a bit expensive for lunch ($23) but so delicious it was... More

Our first meal in Half Moon Bay and the start of our San Francisco trip was at Barbara's Fishtrap. We happened upon it by chance and settled in at this casual establishment right on the ocean for a quick bite to eat after a long day of traveling from the East coast. We started with the calamari and cold brew... More

Little hole in the wall, but the food is absolutely amazing. You can wait to sit in the restaurant (a very long line), or you can get take out from their take out counter and be able to enjoy your food quickly. Lots of picnic tables outside with a great view. Note that they do not take credit card, so... More

My husband ordered a breadbowl of clam chowder, I ordered the giant prawns and chips. Both were great! Very busy small restaurant, but worth the wait.

We were glad we found this little gem. We really enjoyed the food and looking out over the water. The place was packed, but we didn't wait at all.
