Barbara's does not take reservations but it is worth the wait. Their system works well for getting people in/out quickly without making you feel rushed. Great views of the Pillar Point Bay from inside or outside. Food is consistently yummy! They offer other items than fish for those non-fish eaters. They also offer fish prepared all ways other than just... More

Love Barbara's Usually get the fish trap a combo of fried calamari, shrimp. Scallops, cod, zucchini, and fries. Have eaten inside and outside or as take out. A fun family place with a view of the bay

Go to place for fried fish in HMB. When I crave fried fish and want to wait for a table, Barbara's is consistent and good. Also, clam chowder and fried artichokes are good. With abundant portions, many times you will leave with a doggie bag. They also have a to go window open on the weekends if you want to... More

Their tepanyaki shrimp are THE very best! Coleslaw delicious. Go there after the noon rush or before the dinner rush so you won't have to wait in line.

The food was fine. It tasted pretty good. The tempura oysters were not greasy. The crab was bland and maybe old in the sandwich. I like the freedom fries. The clam chowder was pretty good. That is all.

Very good food but place is way to small and crowded. The staff were all walking on top of each other to get to the tables and to your food. Will definitely eat here again but will use their outside take out instead of waiting 30 minutes or more for the crowded inside. Also they are cash only. They definitely... More

Beautiful setting by the sea. Food was average. Overpriced for what it was. Loos were decorated like under water which was fun.

very casual atmosphere - lots of locals - the service was very fun, friendly and attentive - the wait line went very fast for the amount of people in line. Our very ample servings of fish were delicious and prices very fair - we'll be back -

Situated next to the harbour and a small beach this is a bustling, well run place. We had chowder followed by some just in season, delicious crabs. It was really busy but the service was efficient. We would definitely return if in the area. Good value for money.

The fish and chips and fried scallops are to die for here, it is very casual and nothing fancy, but you get real good foid for fair prices.
