outstanding food and portions

Just stopped off for a quick bite on the way to San Francisco - what amazing food. The princess cake was the best every. Great service too.

We pulled into Joe's just before noon and decided to have an omelet. I got the Spanish Sausage omelet and it was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and seasoned well and the portion was more than enough. Our server was polite, courteous and very attentive without being pushy. Our food arrived hot and once we began to eat the server... More

We just wanted to walk somewhere from our hotel so we chose Joes. Service was fine, folks were friendly. I enjoyed lasagna and my husband chose red snapper. Both were fine, although nothing to write home about. Our salads were fair; both were swimming in salad dressing. I recommend you ask for it on the side.

If you wax nostalgic for diners with overstuffed vinyl booths, and eating huge plates of old school greasy spoon favorites while listening to big band and elevator music playing softly in the background...then you'll love Joe's! I felt like we walked into a normal restaurant from decades ago. The staff was sweet, there were a lot of happy older patrons,... More

We had a great breakfast with friends. I was very impressed with how kind, patient, and gracious the wait staff was with my friend's father who has some mobility and cognitive issues.

We made reservations here to celebrate my husbands birthday based on reviews of the desserts and Italian food. Not somewhere I would ever return to. The service was among the worst I've ever had and the Italian food tasted like it was frozen/canned. After spending more than an hour before we were served the main course, another hour passed before... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way to San Francisco. The booths are huge as are the tables. I particularly liked the fact that the chairs were all on coasters. The food is good, in large portions. Soup was delicious. But the star of the day was the cake! Luscious, decadent generous portions. Mmmm.

Just off of the scenic Hwy1 (which is my favorite drive in all of the US), this is nice diner with good food and good service. I just happened to stop there by chance but i was pleasantly surprised. I just ordered coffee and an eggplant parm sandwich for my lunch and they were both good. the place was clean... More

We had lunch there, I saw a gent with a chef's hat checking the delivery truck. They were still serving breakfast. We tried a dessert. The place was almost empty. The food and the ambience reminded my husband and me of a chain restaurant like Denny's. This place gets good reviews but I wouldn't stop there again. Is there really... More

We stopped for lunch while travelling down Highway 1 from San Francisco. This is a traditional diner with very friendly staff and good service. The place is lovely and clean with a good selection of food which is served in generous quantities. Breakfast was still being served when we arrived which looked good but we had burgers and they were... More
