Secretly hidden in a residential/commercial neighborhood in Hacienda Heights off the 60 fwy, is a secret little hidden gem… Foo Foo Tei. Getting there is interesting. Once you turn down on to Clark street, you start to doubt yourself in wondering if you took a wrong turn somewhere.. then, there it is! A tiny white little building that looks like... More

it's located smack in the middle of a residential/commercial storage area -- quiet .. seems unusual place to be. BUT .. don't let it fool you. Line and wait can be very long --- that's how you know it's good and worth trying they have 3 different kinds of seasoning to their broth - miso, salt or soy sauce. I... More

Really wanted to put 2 stars but it seemed mean, usually I love it when they give huge portions but I was suprised with this being a "ramen" place there was very little ramen but lots of everything else. I ordered the Umami Ramen and it was 20% ramen / 30% meat / 50% vegetables. Don't get me wrong because... More

We used to drive all the way to Little Tokyo (downtown between first and second) to enjoy japanese food. No more! A few blocks from the 60 are 2 very nice isolated places with incredible food. The neighborhood is remote, place is small, smells grease, you might have to wait outside, but the food is great. Nice variety of appetizers,... More

Unlike traditional ramen places where there is only 2 or 3 choice, this place has a ton. All types of flavors and soup bases. Usually have to wait unless you get there when they open. Good food and good service. The rice dishes aren't bad either. In a industrial neighborhood so area is so so but definitely worth a try!!!

most ramens taste very good although they all end up taste very similar. some other side dishes i think were not as impressive as their ramens, but i do love their grilled mackeral.

their ramen noodles are delish, go for the original #1~#3 on the menu. my fav is the shiou ramen. only downside is that there is always a long waiting time. expect 15-60 mins waiting time, depending on the size of your party.
