Fresh sashimi in huge portion

Akasaka is located in a residential area, but that doesn't stop people from coming. I usually call ahead to make reservation or you will have to wait 30-45 minutes for a seat during rush hour. Their Chirashi bowl is HUGE. It is a little pricey, but it is definitely worth it. The fish is very... read more

Although we had positive experiences in the past, our last visit was punctuated by unacceptable behaviors. First, refusing to seat us because one person was missing was strange as we had a reservation. But the term seems subject to interpretation. Second, there is no organization, with everyone doing everything, resulting in serious hygiene issues. For instance, a person would go... More

Unlike traditional Japanese restaurant, this place is well known for its jumbo portion. Huge Chirashi bowl, sushi rolls.

Looks like a dumpy little place I in a sketchy neighborhood. Don't let that fool you! Incredibly good food!

This place is very popular, and it is always packed. If you don't want to wait an hour for your meal, then it is recommended that you make a reservation. When we first came here several years ago, this place gives you good value for your money as the sushi and sashimi were cut very thick. Gradually they raised the... More

Set there this February with 6 friends. When we arrived at the neighborhood the area seemed kind of shady. It is located pretty much near houses with hardly any restaurants around. Seems like someone decided to open a Japanese restaurant at home. When we entered the place was FULL!! apart for just one table that was practically waiting for us.... More

2 reasons why you should not go to Akasaka. #1. It will spoil every other sushi place you thought was the best. #2. It will be harder for me to get a reservation for the bar to sit with my favorite sushi chef. This place has the best sushi and sashimi around. Fresh and flavorful...served in large portions. Highly recommend... More

This is bar far one of the Best sushi bowls I have ever had in my life. Sushi is great, appetizers are Grand, and the service is cool. Prices are more than far for the amount of food you get it. Love coming here whenever I get the chance. Oh one other thing...Make reservation or your not getting in.

This is my favorite place for sushi around the area. Their prices may look pricy, $45 for chirashi, but it's worth. Their portions are huge. The fish quality is excellent. The chirashi bowl can stuff 2 ppl if nothing else ordered. It's best to share with a few people and order other dishes to share. Everything is large portion so... More
