Boon has enjoyed several years of a successful run in Guerneville, and I have enjoyed the place before, but my latest experience for dinner was a mixed bag. The wine was nice and reasonably priced - the dinner was totally overpriced. The brussel sprouts appetizer (which my friend raved about) doesn't deserve revisiting - the only true flavor was the... We enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Boon on our Sonoma wine getaway. After reading many reviews, we knew we had to order the brussel sprouts and they did not disappoint. So much so that we ordered a second helping! Our group of four also enjoyed the truffle fries very much and ordered steak, a burger and the pork shoulder for... More

Absolutely loved this place! Small and casual, but very big on quality of food and energy. Amazing wines too. One of the best restaurants I've been too. Definitely not a white table cloth five star restaurant. Just a solid local restaurant executed to perfection.

We went early on a Friday evening and actually got a table. Place is tiny and tables very close together, but that is the only drawback. We had the flash fried Brussels sprouts and the truffle fries, both excellent, and then I had the special--asparagus soup and scallops, both divine. My husband's halibut with gigante beans was just ok. Service... More

The restaurant is very small but we didn’t feel overly crowded. There were a couple of tables and counter near the front of the restaurant that you may want to try for. The menu was very creative. All the dishes we tried were very flavorful and with a great presentation. The creamy tomato soup was outstanding as were their salads.... More

Wonderful lunch place, the best brussel sprotus I've ever had and I'm not a brussel sprout fan. Great other small plates also. Wonderful service

We celebrated a birthday here today, what a find! Don't miss the Brussels Sprouts if available they're spicy, tangy and garlicky! You may want 2 orders! We swooned over the polenta lasagna on a bed of swiss chard, woah. Dessert wowed us as well, a brownie topped with sea salt on a cabernet reduction (okay there was something else in... More

At first glance, it looks a little weathered, but make sure you stop in for good eats. You know a good restaurant when the detail to the veggies and appearance of the plate make it appealing to eat every bite. Fresh haddock, served with wine from the Russian River valley. Attentive service. Wish the tables weren't so close together.

Delightful and wholesome fresh cuisine make this a favorite spot in Guerneville. Wine is reflective of the area. The truffle fries are a specialty - had a whole order to myself. The resto tends to get packed quick so recommendations are recomended. Service is genial.
