I've been eating everyday for 56 years, this was one of the best meals I've ever had. I've eaten at some very nice restaurants in places like San Francisco, Los Angles, Las Vegas, Miami & New York. St. Orres ranks right up with any of them! It's easily one of my top 5 meals of all time. I enjoyed the... More

You will be delighted by the setting and architecture of the building. Really a wonder. The food is beautifully prepared and presented. However, the cost is rather dear. We would recommend ordering several small plates, a salad, and a dessert. Better value for your money, and it seems to be prepared to order, while the full dinner comes up too... More

This was our 2nd visit to St Orres and the food and ambiance were both incredible. The heirloom tomato salad was incredible, The Jack Daniels Ice Cream Caramel Sundae was to die. We were not that impressed when we dined here several years ago. This latest trip more than made up for it!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary dinner at St. Orres. As always, it was very pleasant and a nice evening and special meal. We live locally and usually come for their small plates but this time ordered from their prix fix menu. He loved the rack of lamb and I had an excellent salmon. It is all good. I... More

Great Russian inspired building on the coast with some of the best food available in the area. Definitely worth going to visit the bar or for dinning just for the atmosphere alone. It would definitely be one of the more fancy and nice places in the area for a special occasion or celebration. They have a very good menu with... More

This is the local special occasion place near Gualala/Sea Ranch. It is in a romantic setting of a quirky, Russian Orthodox-inspired wooden inn complete with onion domes and high ceilings. The menu sometimes features local game like venison. The food ranges from good to great. I particularly enjoy their brunches, with excellently executed brunch classics served with flair and distinction.... More

The dining room was flooded with evening sun and the stained glass windows were very pretty. The room with its onion dome and ceiling stained glass was distinctive and nice. Except for the art by Heidi Edleman, which was seriously disturbing. We had an outstanding server, a woman who lived in Anchor Bay. We were brought homemade bread with yummy... More

Very nice setting. My wife had the Lobster and Prawn dish and I had the Filet. Very good! We also stayed in one of their cottages. They upgraded us to a nicer cottage! That was very nice of them to do! One thing that surprised me is that our server never came back to check with us on how our... More

We absolutely love this place. Funky building looks like and old Russian coastal church. The food is always top notch. I had the venison tenderloin and waffle with the berry compote. The venison there is the best I ever had fork tender.

Heading to our reservation in whale watch Inn B&B, when we passed by this beautiful architecture wondering what it was. B&B owner told us its a restaurant:) we booked our dinner reservations not knowing what the food going to be like. Arrived at 6pm we are the first family there we got the best spot by the window. They have... More
