St. Orrs is my favorite bar and restaurant in Gualala. Ask Lupe to make you a favorite special cocktail!

On Valentine's Day I went to St.Orres to treat myself to tapas. It was a stunningly warm evening about an hour before sunset and I sat on the veranda. Lupe, the bartender was busy mashing basil for martinis....three glasses at the ready, as I passed the bar to the veranda. In a few moments she delivered the luscious green concoctions... More

My husband and I are part time Sea Ranch residents who neglected to make any plans for Christmas, due to last minute work chaos. We were lucky to drive by St. Orres and ask if the packed restaurant with set Christmas menu could accomodate us in the bar. We were made to feel very special and welcome, enjoying a lovely... More

Always wanted to go here and finally did to celebrate our birthdays. It was a thoroughly rewarding dining experience. Service was formal and friendly, and not at all stuffy. Old Fashion and Manhattan drinks were perfect. The presentation of the food was beautiful and the taste elegant. One of us had the pheasant with black chanterelles and truffles; the other... More

Four of us went for dinner. We purposely went early to have a drink at the bar due to the reviews. We were not disappointed! Lupe not only makes a great cocktail but she made the whole experience better. She's a hoot! The man that greeted us was very nice and welcoming. They bothe are 5's. In the dining room... More

We have been to St Orres on multiple occasions and normally eat in the bar. Last night we had dinner with friends in the dining room to celebrate a birthday and everything was excellent. Service, food and presentation were all superior experiences. I know that dining out can be different from visit to visit, but last night was a 5... More

Enjoyed a stay in the Johnson House at St Orres - We will be going back again. The food is fabulous. I had a beef filet, spouse had the duck - both were excellent. We also ate at the bar one late afternoon - get there around four and hope you can end up in the fireside loveseat. Try the... More

Rosemary Campiformio has wowed food writers for years with her version of North Coast cuisine. Her pre-xe menu includes daily delivered organic ingredients by local shermen and farmers. All her mushroom dishes are simply to die for! Be sure to sample the barkeep, Lupe's, basil or celery martinis. Match them with tapas for a less expensive, yet just as delightful,... More
