Lovely woody interior.

Only had a drink and excellent small plates in the cozy bar. Dinner, which I surmise is terrific is $45 for soup, salad and entree

This is one of the best meals I have ever had. As local as the food can be. Most of my dinner was harvested right in Mendocino county. I had the lobster and prawns. It was beautifully prepared and plated like a work of art. This restaurant is a bit pricier than other restaurants in the area but we'll worth... More

The mushroom ravioli is excellent. This is a charming gem for dinner while in Gualala. The ambience leads me to believe that this would be a wonderful resort to stay at when next in the area. But i can assure you that the food is top-notch.

We loved the building itself, the old Russian style and the bar menu was awesome. One of our friends had recommended it and so we went to the bar and had a great variety of little plates paired with some awesome wines and great deserts. It is definitely one of the more 'high-end' places in the area, but also worth... More

My husband and I were staying at Sea Ranch when we heard someone mention this charming Russian Mosque look alike restaurant up by Gualala. What a find. Congenial staff, Doors open with wonderful breezes passing through. Beautiful flowers, interesting art work by a local artist ( be sure to track down their very private gallery) and delicious food. I also... More

I eat there often. They have three menus--regular, bar and small plates. The food is always fresh and excellent as is the wine selection. There is a full bar with truly hand made drinks from scratch. The service matches the food. It is the best on the coast from the bay area to Fort Bragg and above. You will not... More

we love to come and sample all of their small plates. We skip the entree and just work our way down the list oysters, crab cakes, mussels, abalone and chile relleanos. Yummy!

Still open after all these years, I first ate here in the 1970's while visiting the area. It seems more casual now, we were accepted a bit windblown fresh from a beach. It still has a wonderful white table cloth but a bit rustic ambiance. Menu is fixed price, currently $45 a plate, but that includes soup & salad. If... More

Alice and I go to St. Orres for all our special occasions: her birthday, Valentine's Day, our anniversary, and I have lunch there every Friday at our weekly Rotary meeting. My favorite dinner is the duck with orange sauce, and Alice loves the quail.

As is our custom, when we make our annual pilgrimage to Gualala we always set aside one night for dinner at St. Orres which in our opinion provides the absolute best dinner dining experience on the North Coast. We visited here over the four day President's Holiday and had dinner on Sunday evening. The food's preparation and presentation is creative... More
