Lovely spot

Took mom and dad to Yosemite for the first time. Stayed here and had dinner Saturday as well. Parents couldn't have been happier with it. Food, staff, wine and scenery were all great. Olde timey cuteness at its finest. Our server Mary was very nice and knowledgeable and took care of us like the... read more

It's not outstanding, but very satisfying. As a local, we stop at Groveland Hotel's Cellar Door every so often.

Our luck at the hotel has been hit and miss over the last couple of years. Some meals have been just OK. They really should be better for the price. The setting is nice and it is clearly the fanciest restaurant in town.

the food was a joke just like the rooms . they call 4 star but I'm sorry it was no star in our groups opinion and crazy expensive 35 $ for a spoon of mashed potato's 4 slices of squash and a thin breakfast steak , I have had better at Denny's .

We ate breakfast at the Cellar Door. The service was good and the food was great. The tables have tablecloths on them, and the seating is comfortable. The tables are spaced well so we didn't feel like everyone could hear us talking (we were in a middle table). Loved reading about the history of the hotel's building on the plaque... More

We had a really nice dinner in the courtyard. Lisa was a wonderful and sweet waitress. The weather was perfect to sit outside and enjoy a bottle of wine and appetizer's before dinner. We enjoy eating inside as well....very romantic!

We had dinner on the shaded patio and the food and service was very good. Breakfast the next morning was served in the dining room and the food was good.

Restaurant remained open late for us. Good food, great wine, Mary was a great waitress - eager, helpful, and Shelley suggested a perfect wine to go with our meal.
