The Hotel is a dated gem. The restaurant patio is really nice. The wine list is spectacular, but the wait staff didn't know anything about wine. The food was mediocre at best. My wife had jambalaya and it was prepared as if nobody cared. We went here because it was rated highly on Tripadvisor and because of the award winning... More

We ate here while staying at the Groveland hotel. The good was actually quite good. We had the puttanesca pasta and the caprese salad. They have a great little patio out back which is very nice yo relax on and enjoy the fresh air.

The restaurant furnishings were very nice and kept the feeling of the "old west". The corkage fee of $20+ seemed a little steep. for the location. My husband ordered the chicken marsala. The presentation was wonderful, his first bite was delicious....THEN he discovered the chicken was RAW! The server was very apologetic and asked if he would like to have... More

We had 2 meals here. One a complimentary full breakfast with the room and a dinner. We had the Greek salad and some salad with fresh organic tomatoes. they were excellent, fresh and flavorful! The owner recommended a bottle wine that was outstanding. The breakfast the next day was great I had the french toast with bacon and my husband... More

We stopped by this hotel for an early dinner and they were very disorganized and rude. At first the lady ran off to see if she could fit us in, and she came back 15 minutes later to say we could eat at the bar but they couldn't serve us bc they are not ready. Which is it? Amateur hour... More

Once again we were pleasantly surprised by the choice, quality and service in this fine old hotel. A lovely sing bar will set you up for a pre-dinner cocktail, then you have the choice of patio dinning (if not too hot outside) or the turn if the (century before last) dinning room. We had a wonderful roast pork, salads and... More

I ate here when I stayed at the hotel. I ate outside in their lovely patio. The food was well prepared, very fresh and very good. It is definitely upscale dining. The wait staff was very courteous. My only complaint was the service. They must have been short-handed because the server was just scrambling everywhere and you had to wait... More

Good quality food, good service and a good selection of wines. Breakfast outside was delightful and there was a large selection of choices as well as a kid's menu.

The food was good and if you're a wine enthusiast they have an amazing selection. Service, however, was erratic. I also felt the seats were a bit too close together. Historic charm in a cute town near Yosemite. This was one of the more upscale dining options.
