We ate here twice and the food and service were great. A nice varied and interesting menu and we enjoyed every meal. I would only suggest that the owners do a survey on their coffee. Good food should be followed by good coffee and we both found it ... shockingly bad.

Our hostess at the Yosemite Rose B&B, a trained chef in her own right, recommended the Charlotte Bistro to us. So glad she did! They have an inventive menu of small plates and tapas, accompanied by local wines. We shared the calamari with chimichurri spices and chipotle sauce - a nice new way of showcasing calamari rather than the usual... More

We found this place by accident having made an unscheduled stay nearby to Groveland. This is a very pleasant town with the Charlotte hotel on the main street. When we went in it was empty but were made very welcome (the place started to fill up later). Excellent bistro style food with interesting dishes - yam gnocchi for instance. Very... More

Groveland is a quaint, small town and we weren't expecting much. What a surprise to find the Bistro! We live is Seattle and have amazing food all the time and I have to say, this is on pare with the best Seattle restaurants. Creative menu, attentive staff and great cocktails. My favorites were the scallops and the spicy margarita. Don't... More

To be frank, we weren't expecting much in Groveland in terms of food but don't let the book by the cover fool you. This place has great ambience, wonderful service and delicious food at a reasonable (for Yosemite) price. We had the lamb, veggies, dates and seafood plates plus a nice local white wine. You will enjoy the richness of... More

We had dinner here during a recent trip to Yosemite. And we are so happy that we decided to dine here instead of any of the several other restaurants in the area. The gnocchi was simply fantastic. The chicken special was delicious and different. The service was attentive without being overbearing. And the dessert was so perfect, we would have... More

I wish I could take this restaurant home with me to Belgium (and we have some pretty good restaurants). Nice place, friendly service and such a creativity in their food. Fresh ingredients, combinations that are daring but are wonderfull when you put them into your mounth! SUPER!

I did not expect to find such high quality food and drink in Groveland. The alternatives were pizza or pub. This place is a gem.

Small plates. Good bar. Casual. Pineapple chili chicken is dynamite, really great. Curried veggies were too raw for us and disappointing; a lot of curry but not cooked into a sauce or anything. Pulled mole pork was good. We have eaten here before and most of what we've had was very good. I would skip the specialty margarita; the chili... More

The staff could not have been more efficient or nicer. The food was excellent. The room was clean and quiet with a great bed. Located in the middle of a small town. Close to Yosemite.
