Deborah and Kevin at Red Tail Ranch recommended this to us and we weren't disappointed. The steak was excellent as were the s'mores for desert! Their weekly quiz night was on whilst we were there and was great fun despite our dismal performance!

We had such a fun night at the Charlotte Bistro! The food, cocktails and wine list were impressive! Everything we ordered tasted so good - the Charlotte exceeded all of our expectations! We happened to come on trivia night, which made for a really fun and lively crowd. We will definitely be back! Everything was prices so reasonably too (coming... More

Hello there, fellow TripAdvisee. My wife and I are residents of Chicago, home of 20+ Michelin star restaurants. We came to Groveland expecting a very mellow town (and it was, believe me). But we didn't expect to find a restaurant like Charlotte Bistro & Bar, which was the highlight of our stay. It was near as good as our actual... More

We are local to Groveland and finally got around to trying the Charlotte Bistro & Bar. We took out of town visitors there for dinner. It was fantastic and fun. Everyone was thoroughly pleased with their dinners. The scallops, Filet Mignon, and Honey Stung Chicken - GREAT! Watch out for the yummy Charlotte Margarita - It has a kick to... More

Based on the good reviews, we stopped in before heading in to Yosemite. Glad we did. Dinner was excellent. The garlic soup was fantastic as was the butternut bisque. For mains, we had the scallops and the pulled pork tamale. Both were delicious. Didn't sample the dessert menu, we were both too full. But we saw some amazing desserts go... More

While staying near Yosemite, we found this fantastic restaurant through trip advisor. It was our best meal (and evening) after 15 days touring California/ Utah. The menu was extensive and enticing, only to be beaten by the quality and flavour of the meals. We shared calimari, pork tamale and honey stung chicken. This was followed many a plate of giant... Excellent address in Groveland. Hold by a young couple this bar/restaurant is the missing fresh air of the american kitchen. Please stop there when you will pass through Yosemite ...

Loved sitting on the balcony watching the world go by while enjoying a beer and a great meal. I had dates stuffed with chorizo followed by a cajun squid- both meals were great. My husband really enjoyed his steak and a couple more of those beers.

Chef Doug Edwards, may be transplanted to Groveland, CA or the one-time western frontier. He too may have been transported over one century and a few decades, & from Italian descendants and possible culinary masters, to his influence on a masterful menu. He chooses the freshest ingredients, mingles & minces them so considerably and offers a colorful and creative fare.... More

We stopped in here for a drink one evening, to find a fantastic bar with great beer and wine, and great service. It's obviously been recently refurbished, very tastefully, and we'd have happily stayed for dinner, but the menu was so limited we decided to go elsewhere for dinner.
