I didn't stay at the hotel (too expensive) but I did eat in their restaurant. The food was of surprisingly poor quality. My "hot" tea was served lukewarm. A small group of us ate dinner here to celebrate a surprise engagement after spending a day in Yosemite. Atmosphere was almost perfect for us, not so fancy that you feel uncomfortable. Recommended for couples or families with well behaved kids. Friendly service and good food, we really enjoyed ourselves! more

If you are traveling through Groveland the best place to eat is the Charlotte. The food is excellent and so is the service. The prices are also excellent. The staff is so friendly they make you feel like your at home. We have tried all the other restaurants in Groveland and the Charlotte is the best. more

Everything about our dining experience was wonderful, the ambience, the service, the delicious asparagus soup and the entrees. Even our baby's meal was excellent: We now consider that children's meal the benchmark for all chicken strips. more
