The highlight of our stay in Groveland was drinks n treats at mountain sage. The drinks are delicious, the service is doting, the food is fresh and flavorful, the setting is peaceful and natural. I have NO idea why dories tea house rates #1, this place is wonderful. If I could pack it up n take it home I would.

An eclectic mix of nursery/coffee shop/gallery with a side of Farmer's Market (starts Saturdays @8 am!) and live outdoor music! Worth popping in for a look-see and strawberry lemonade!

What a fantastic little gem. We stopped in here for the farmers market on Saturday and attended a live music event. They have a lovely location with a beautiful backyard where you can sit under the trees and enjoy your coffee.

We love going to Mt. Sage Cafe for lunch - or anytime really. But my favorite thing is Jess's handmade soups. Jess and Chelsea are lovely people who add lots to the community not just the cafe. Favorite while visiting is to have soup by the fire. Also, try the homemade ginger ale!

I've stopped here twice on the way to Yosemite to grab coffee and chai tea. The drinks and pastries are quite good, but the atmosphere is really special. You can tell these locals really like where they live and they are mainstays of the community. Rob Hirsch is a fantastic photographer of nature, particularly Yosemite. His work is on display... More

This is not your ordinary cafe. Housed in an old, original house, it includes a wonderful photo gallery, a plant nursery and they have summer concerts. Oh, and great coffee and assorted drinks and snacks.

This place has great espresso coffee, and is just a cool place to visit. The art and crafts on display, most of which is for sale, are well worth taking a look.

This little "cafe" was a delightful surprise for us. They create and serve excellent baked goods, nutritious drinks, coffees, teas, and freshly-made lunches. One woman seemed to make it all, so we had to wait about 10 minutes to be served, but there was lots else to see here so that was OK. The cafe is in the family home... More

Lovely atmosphere to get your morning coffee. Dont expect to get it fast though, thats part of its hippie charm. Enjoy the store, the surroundings and colorful neighbors

You have to be kidding...5 stars?? Mountain Sage is not a cafe. There is not a farm fresh breakfast. There is not a table to sit at, or a waitress, or any of the things that make up a cafe. Mountain Sage is a want to be coffee bar, with a few dried scones and some dead plants in the... More
