Just a small Mexican food restaurant (hole in the wall, there the best) with consistently good food and friendly service. Favorite of the locals, discovered by many tourist on their way through Groveland. Good variety and so far I haven't found anything I don't like.

Pancho and Lupe are wonderful and the food is sublime! Always a must every time we're in town! Some favorites are the carnitas and chile rellanos.

I have eaten here twice with friends. It is reasonably priced and good food. I've gotten the Chile Relleno and liked it very much. Others have had the chile verde (a little spicy). The chips are served with hot sauce and what I think was cabbage in a separate bowl....both were good. Only one kind of beans though, re-fried. The... More

My wife and I ate here while staying at the Hotel Charlotte on our way to Yosemite. It was the only place open at 8PM in the town, and it was highly recommended from one of the hotel staff. The place is family owned and operated, and the service was awesome. The portions are large, the food good, and the... More

Love love the cabbage salsa. Large plates. Friendly people. Great place to stay a while. We try to get something different all the time. Everything is good. But go with a empty stomach :)

We showed up just before closing (around 8:30pm) on a Tuesday and they were pretty much the only place opened. It turned out to be very good. The nachos came with a sort of Mexican cole slaw that was yummy as was the salsa. I had the burritos supremos chicken and my wife had the shrimp fajitas. Both were quite... More

Not a restaurant I would have tried except on the advice from our inn owner but we were glad we tried it. Food was very fresh and as good as any Mexican food I have tried. Not sure what to order so I asked the owner for recommendations and he was very helpful and gave great advice. Would definitely go... More

My wife and I enjoyed a very good meal here on 9/20/2013. The service was very good. I had selected the combo plate of 3 chicken enchiladas with green sauce and my wife order the combo of 3 chicken tacos with green sauce. Both entres were very good. Fresh chicken and the green sauce was delicious.

Some highs and lows in this place. Waiting area was really hot, making the dining room seem comfortable by comparison. Menu is more extensive than most chains, and you can make your own two- or three-item combinations. Ordinarily you can expect a good assortment of MX beers. Sadly, we went on a Monday and they hadn't resupplied after their busy... More

This restaurant surprised me with the very large menu of Mexican cuisine. Note that there is nothing fancy about this place, but the service is good and the staff are friendly. They food is tasty and really hit the spot after a day of hiking in Yosemite. Prices are very reasonable.
