In the UK we are starved of good Mexican cuisine so, coming to California, I was excited to eat some good authentic Mexican food. This restaurant fits the bill entirely. The menu is extensive, including all your standard dishes (burritos, tacos, fajitas etc) plus some extras, such as a spicy chipotle chicken dish, which we loved! You get given complementary... More

I was staying in Groveland with my friend and we travelled in everyday to Yosemite. By the end of each day we were starving so we thought a big portion of Mexican food would be ideal- and it was. V nice staff, the waitress happily recommended some dishes which were super tasty and cheap (it cost us 20 bucks each... More

Wife had a shrimp dish that was unique and quite tasty. I had the burrito supreme, again very unique and also quite good. After a long day of hiking and not much was open in Groveland (after 5pm!!) we gave this place a shot. Had to wait about 15 minutes. Table was wiped down with a rag that smelled moldy.... More

This place is a great little gem. The food is fabulous and the staff are warm and welcoming. All the food we had was delicious and the portions were big. It's only a small place so be prepared to wait a while but the wait is definitely worth it.

Went here with our family and had a truly amazing traditional Mexican meal. Between us we had the two tacos, Bob's special and Beef Chimichanga. Absolutely delicious! Well worth a visit.

We ate here based on the recommendation of a friend. When we arrived there was a line out the door so we had a good feeling that it would be a good meal. That feeling got even stronger when we saw a large amount of 'locals' stopping in to get take-out on their way home from work. We weren't disappointed.... More
