Great Mexican food prepared fresh, friendly service, not great ambiance but the food more than makes up for it!

Wife had a shrimp dish that was unique and quite tasty. I had the burrito supreme, again very unique and also quite good. After a long day of hiking and not much was open in Groveland (after 5pm!!) we gave this place a shot. Had to wait about 15 minutes. Table was wiped down with a rag that smelled moldy.... More

This place is a great little gem. The food is fabulous and the staff are warm and welcoming. All the food we had was delicious and the portions were big. It's only a small place so be prepared to wait a while but the wait is definitely worth it.

Went here with our family and had a truly amazing traditional Mexican meal. Between us we had the two tacos, Bob's special and Beef Chimichanga. Absolutely delicious! Well worth a visit.

We ate here based on the recommendation of a friend. When we arrived there was a line out the door so we had a good feeling that it would be a good meal. That feeling got even stronger when we saw a large amount of 'locals' stopping in to get take-out on their way home from work. We weren't disappointed.... More

The food was colorful and delicious and the service outstanding. My favorite dish, a white fish in a spicy garlic sauce, was available and did not disappoint.

Third dinner experience here and a good choice for post whitewater rafting trip with AO Rafting. The menu has the usual Mexican dinner combos you'd encounter in any other Mexican restaurant in California, but adds a few entrees that go beyond just tacos, burritos and enchiladas. I always order the Milanesa which is a pounded and fried chicken breast with... More

We are a very picky family when it comes to Mexican food, since we live in Chicago, and there are numerous excellent places to choose from. We found this restaurant to have mouthwatering delectable food!!! I had some of the best tostadas that I've ever had!!!! Great wait staff, and great food make this a must do in Groveland!!!!!!

My wife and I ate at Cocina Michoacana on the suggestion of our Inn Keeper. The restaurant had a lot of authentic Mexican dishes, and the food was a great value. The staff was friendly and seemed to welcome all travelers. On my next trip to Yosemite, I will be sure to stop there again. ***Tip, try the Horchata. Yum.
