Meals are very filling. In the absence of the competition , as there is not many places to eat in this area, this is decent, but nothing special: meals are big but depending on your order, it's either hit or miss. You can di better with anything fried or burgers, but there is no salad selection, just one regular salad.... More

Step back 50 years into a roadside diner that serves stricty American fare. Not Californian, not Fusion, not pretentious about any of it. The beer is ice cold. The food is classic and yet unique. Don't even think about calories. Service is fast paced and friendly. And don't expect English to be the primary tongue of the patrons. But the... More

Quaint bar close to Yosemite. Several drink options and basic bar food. I would not recommend this place.

Upone entering this restaurant you are greeted and treated to a friendly helpful and hard-working staff. The food is exactly as is presented. Honest and not pretentious.

The location is next to the Yosemite Westgate motel, so we at there for breakfast and dinner several times. It was good and had a nice variety for both meals, plus they served large beer for $3.50, not too bad. Would eat here again.

Within an easy walking distance from the Inn, there was enough variety to eat there several nights with no repeats.

They serve fast food. Ours wasn't remarkable in any way. The waiting time was remarkable though: more than 25 minutes from being seated until we could order our meal. The only reason, that this does not result in a worse rating from me is, that it seems, that the sudden closure of a nearby highway could have generated a boom... More

We were driving on our way to Yosemite, when we stopped by Buck Meadows restaurant. This place is 11 miles from Groveland, 19 miles from Evergreen lodge, and 31 miles from Yosemite village. In other words in the middle of nowhere. The northern entrance to Yosemite is 14 miles away, and there are restrooms there, for my long suffering wife,... More

We needed to eat, it was late, and there aren't many other options. The menu choices are interesting, using old TV Series for their food - Donna Reed Turkey Dinner for example. The place seemed popular with locals, prices were about where they should be considering the looks of the place. Service was not very good at all - they... More

We ate here several times while staying in Groveland for a week long visit to Yosemite. Our service was always friendly and efficient. The food was good, especially the hamburgers, onion rings, and fries. Some of the entrees, such as lasagna, are really large portions so perfect size to split. Prices were really good for food and for beer. The... More
