We invite you to step back in time to enjoy the charming atmosphere of this historical site and to partake in the English tradition of taking tea. Dori's Tea Cottage opened in May 2008 to continue this fine tea tradition and to expand on Dori's life-long love of tea. In 2012, Dori's expanded into the adjacent space that is now Dori's Cafe, which was Groveland's former U.S. Post Office. The Cafe features espresso, gelato, smoothies, fresh brewed iced teas, sandwiches, wraps, quiche, soup, salad and a variety of bakery items. We hope you enjoy your visit - whether you enjoy a quick breakfast, join us for our English tea luncheon, or "Build a Picnic" for your trip to Yosemite.

Super fresh food; amazing selection of teas, attentive service

I personally love the wraps, but that said, I have never had anything I didn't love at Dori's, including quiche which is usually on my "don't touch" list. Her staff are wonderful and being there is always a lovely experience.

Linelle at Dori's Tea Cottage baked our beautiful wedding cake for our wedding reception at the Hotel Charlotte! Our cake was amazing! My wife and I are so grateful to her for all of her hard work! Thank you for helping to make our wedding day the best day of our lives! Linelle was great! We live in Dallas and... More

We had blended drinks that were done pretty well and we are from the northwest and like our coffee! Husband like his smoothie. They have some wines and specialty cheeses along with their tea selection.

Don't pass Groveland without making a stop at Dori's Tea Cottage. The front of the store has a cafe and an extensive Gift Shop (complete with a large selection of teas). It's a great place to grab sandwiches/salads on the way to/from Yosemite. (The gelato looked amazing!) Our tradition is the afternoon tea in the back of the store. Delicate... More

My family and I are staying the week at Camp Mather near Yosemite, so we are completely off the data grid. I had to check in to my work a couple of times during the week, so was in search of WiFi access. My wife and I were in Groveland searching for some supplies and stopped at Dori's to get... More

If you are going to Yosemite and want to stop for coffee or take a lunch in the nice place, this place is what you are looking for. Good service and food. Also they have wifi, which is very helpful if you need to check emails or do some work. I recommend that place. Thanks.

We stopped in for lunch one day and tried the artichoke and sundried tomato quiche. I like quiche and this sounded interesting. It was AMAZING. The best quiche I have ever had. Cute little place with a lot of personality !

Simple and charming for a snack or for tea. They have excellent quality teas, individually brewed, loose leaf. Such a refreshing change from the usual stale iced tea served up in most cafes. The quiche I had was delicious, flaky crust, creamy filling, nicely seasoned. Be forewarned the internet can be spotty if you have need of it, but they... More

Enjoyed a great lunch salad and some of the best coffee I've ever had! They have a wonderful shaded patio. We came back in the early evening and enjoyed a glass of wine and a cheese plate.

Very hospital. Delicious food. Friendly and comfortable. Reasonably price, best in the area in my opinion I love the patio, eating under the lilac tree. Thank you for insisting we relax!
