We invite you to step back in time to enjoy the charming atmosphere of this historical site and to partake in the English tradition of taking tea. Dori's Tea Cottage opened in May 2008 to continue this fine tea tradition and to expand on Dori's life-long love of tea. In 2012, Dori's expanded into the adjacent space that is now Dori's Cafe, which was Groveland's former U.S. Post Office. The Cafe features espresso, gelato, smoothies, fresh brewed iced teas, sandwiches, wraps, quiche, soup, salad and a variety of bakery items. We hope you enjoy your visit - whether you enjoy a quick breakfast, join us for our English tea luncheon, or "Build a Picnic" for your trip to Yosemite.

Wonderful Lunch

Dori's is a quaint place. The customer service was great. The food was very good, really enjoyed the quiche and potato soup.

We stopped here on the way to Yosemite. It provided us with a shady terrace to have a light meal that was very tasty. The service provided was excellent with the staff being flexible and also providing us with good advice about filling up with fuel.

had a solid lunch, good sandwhich, good salad. The way people talked about this place I expected much beter food and much better service. Don't get me wrong, its not bad at all but certainly caters to a much older crowd. Good job on marketing but I would not go back.

We stopped here to get fresh made sandwiches for our day in Yosemite. Service was friendly and efficient and the sandwiches were very good. A nice variety of options even for vegetarians.

The service was great and the tea and baked goods was above average. We also had sandwiches on the little patio which was cute and pleasant.

It was so fun to find great coffee and goodies in a small shop in a very small town on the way to Yosemite. It was so unexpected and just what we needed after a long drive. They also make sandwiches and have interesting foods to buy. There is a small outdoors eating area that is cozy and rustic. This... More

We stopped for lunch here, cute place if you like cute, ok menu, but food prepared with too much sugar (chicken salad sandwich, salad), long preparation time, rather higher price than I would have expected for a small local shop.

Small, local café with a variety of cakes and sandwiches. Friendly atmosphere. Also have a selection of gifts and souvenirs. Got great review on Trip Advisor as well.

The food was so delicious and appealing to the eye. You should try the weddind tea! Everything was decorated so nicely. Our waitress was kind and helpful. I took my best friend there for her birthday.

Came here on Mother's day. The tea room was full/pre-booked (we didn't realize it was that sort of place, but we get that they're busy on the holiday), so we got food from the counter instead. We came here because of all the rave reviews, not realizing that the place is two completely different restaurants in one. If you want... More
