Our vision is to provide a comfortable, friendly, neighborhood cafe where our guests enjoy Latin flavors of the lower Americas in their traditional style. Diego's recipes are freshly made; from the warm homemade bread that starts your experience, to the guacamole, salsas and sauces that accompany your meal. We consciously source quality local products that are friendly to our environment. This includes free range, naturally-raised meat without antibiotics or hormones, as well as sustainably raised fish. We also purchase organic produce whenever possible. We do not cut corners here at Diegos, and our guests see the value in our quality.

Great

Wonderful food, really fun environment, super friendly staff. The food is consistently great, I have never been dissapointed and visit here often. Be prepared to spend the evening, the service does take a long time (or do takeout! But you'll miss part of the experience)

Diego's serves an interesting variety of vegetable, meet, and fish entrees, which are Chilean inspired. We tend to order the Tipapia dishes most often, especially the Pescado La Plancha. The portions are generous, making this a great dish to split for an extra couple of dollars. The tilapia is grilled perfectly and topped with guacamole and fresh salsa with a... More

We were passing through the adorable town of Grass Valley when hunger struck. . . mildly panicking we picked the first place with a decent rating on . . . a competitor website that rhymes with "Belp!". Being long-time SF/Bay area residents we're pretty picky when it comes to dining out - we've been spoiled. This place is awesome! Great... More

Wow, try the special, a Crepe wrapping chorizo, veggies, potatoes and the surprise, pineapple, it is wonderfully spicy and absolute delicious, ask for Diane the owner, she's a champ dedicated her life to locating and preparing exotic dishes.....

Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and some of the best veggie food I've had in awhile. Looking forward to the next visit.

Do not be fooled by the décor! This place is horrible from start to finish. We waited 2 hours for our lunch. My guests received their food 20 minutes before my wife and I received our food. Finally our food arrived and it was COLD!! We asked our server (and I use the term server loosely) to take the food... More

Colorful, relaxed atmosphere with a nice outdoor patio in front. Chilean food is fantastic. Very friendly - another place locals flock to.

This is a gem of a restaurant, from their eclectic decor and mismatched dishes (like from a thrift store, not "let's order 5 kinds of plates to be trendy"), to their family owned and run restaurant. This is truly local, from the food sourced to the son in the kitchen and the family out front. Oh..and the food...this is not... More

Diego's is always packed and it's unique decor always keeps us entertained. It's fairly small but they still manage to put together a table for 10-12 in the back room when we have company come to visit. A fun and yummy place to eat!
