Description: Our vision is to provide a comfortable, friendly, neighborhood cafe where our guests enjoy Latin flavors of the lower Americas in their traditional style. Diego's recipes are freshly made; from the warm homemade bread that starts your experience, to the guacamole, salsas and sauces that accompany your meal. We consciously source quality local products that are friendly to our environment. This includes free range, naturally-raised meat without antibiotics or hormones, as well as sustainably raised fish. We also purchase organic produce whenever possible. We do not cut corners here at Diegos, and our guests see the value in our quality.

We were passing through the adorable town of Grass Valley when hunger struck. . . mildly panicking we picked the first place with a decent rating on . . . a competitor website that rhymes with "Belp!". Being long-time SF/Bay area residents we're pretty picky when it comes to dining out - we've been spoiled. This place is awesome! Great... More

Wow, try the special, a Crepe wrapping chorizo, veggies, potatoes and the surprise, pineapple, it is wonderfully spicy and absolute delicious, ask for Diane the owner, she's a champ dedicated her life to locating and preparing exotic dishes.....

Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and some of the best veggie food I've had in awhile. Looking forward to the next visit.

Do not be fooled by the décor! This place is horrible from start to finish. We waited 2 hours for our lunch. My guests received their food 20 minutes before my wife and I received our food. Finally our food arrived and it was COLD!! We asked our server (and I use the term server loosely) to take the food... More

Colorful, relaxed atmosphere with a nice outdoor patio in front. Chilean food is fantastic. Very friendly - another place locals flock to.

This is a gem of a restaurant, from their eclectic decor and mismatched dishes (like from a thrift store, not "let's order 5 kinds of plates to be trendy"), to their family owned and run restaurant. This is truly local, from the food sourced to the son in the kitchen and the family out front. Oh..and the food...this is not... More

Diego's is always packed and it's unique decor always keeps us entertained. It's fairly small but they still manage to put together a table for 10-12 in the back room when we have company come to visit. A fun and yummy place to eat!

Diegos serves South American food. The empanadas are incredible. Best dinner rolls anywhere. I have eaten here many times in the past few years and the food and service are always excellent. This is an unusal restaurant... unlike any chain. We always take visitors to dinner at Diego's and they are always love it.

After a lovely weekend in Grass Valley, we decided to try this little spot for lunch on our way out of town - what a fiind! The yummy, warm chilean bread served as an appetizer with cilantro salsa was a great start and it got better from there. I ordered the house specialy salad with pork (I cant remember the... More

I had a wonderful lunch at Diego's. It is such a cute restaurant and the food is amazing. The food was fresh and not your typical fare. I'll be back.
