Our vision is to provide a comfortable, friendly, neighborhood cafe where our guests enjoy Latin flavors of the lower Americas in their traditional style. Diego's recipes are freshly made; from the warm homemade bread that starts your experience, to the guacamole, salsas and sauces that accompany your meal. We consciously source quality local products that are friendly to our environment. This includes free range, naturally-raised meat without antibiotics or hormones, as well as sustainably raised fish. We also purchase organic produce whenever possible. We do not cut corners here at Diegos, and our guests see the value in our quality.

Great Food - slow, but kind service

The food is wonderful. The delicious vinegar and onion dip they serve with the homemade rolls when you get there is wonderful. The only problem I have, and this is consistent with every time I have been there, is that the service is very slow. Please do not get me wrong, all the servers are kind... read more

Great lunch, great food, great service, great time with friends, will definitely return. Empanaditas with guacamole and salsa with a side of cole slaw were very tasty, rellenos excellent, lamb skewers and grilled chicken very good, nice sides and salad.

After working in the restaurant industry with some pretty well known chefs in the Bay Area, finding a small town restaurant with a passion for quality and flavor can be difficult. Not so with Diego's. They consistently provide fabulous dishes, daily specials and in house made desserts. I especially love the handmade tortillas for tacos and their wonderful Tres Leche... More

My husband and I recently moved to Grass Valley and this is the one place we keep going back to. We love the panqueques and the Siracha Shrimp and all the salads are delicious. Affordable, quirky, delicious, fun - everyone we take here loves it too!

Diegos is a great restaurant to go to for food that is a little different! They serve Latin American food and it is delicious! The service is always great; servers very friendly and always accommodating. The portions are generous. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

good food and great owners and so nice. The food is made to order and fresh ingredients Chiliean food and a mix of Cuban etc. Nothing can explain this original food just plain good and healthy. They serve wine and beer only no cocktails .

Wonderful food, really fun environment, super friendly staff. The food is consistently great, I have never been dissapointed and visit here often. Be prepared to spend the evening, the service does take a long time (or do takeout! But you'll miss part of the experience)

Diego's serves an interesting variety of vegetable, meet, and fish entrees, which are Chilean inspired. We tend to order the Tipapia dishes most often, especially the Pescado La Plancha. The portions are generous, making this a great dish to split for an extra couple of dollars. The tilapia is grilled perfectly and topped with guacamole and fresh salsa with a... More
