A good place to meet friends and enjoy some good craft beer.

Tasty beer but stay away from the pizzas. If you find a favorite beer here (Tiny Bubbles is mine) be aware that because they are brewing on site, that at times the flavor does change. If this is the case, let your server know and they will and have for me in the past, removed the beer from my... read more

The Bud Light drinkers who have given this place a negative review don't know what the heck they're talking about. The beer and this place is absolutely fantastic. Hollister has a continually changing menu of outstanding beer. If you enjoy beer you absolutely cannot miss this place. Food is very good as well. Their regular menu is delicious and they... More

Biked from Bacara for lunch in Goleta. Hotel recommended HBC. The beer sampler was a fun way to taste several different beers. Fried pickles were crispy and delicious. Mussels weren't very good as the sauce needed to reduce down more. Loved the Bahn Mi pork sandwich - would return for this!

We went here for dinner as we were traveling on business. The Orange Blossom beer was great, as were most of the beer selection. Food was pretty good, not great, but good. Our server was nice. It was Monday evening and they started trying to run us off at about 9:15. They said they do a soft close at 9:30... More

We ate here when it first opened. The food was poor and the beer even worse. We both really enjoy beer. We travel internationally a lot and always enjoy trying new things. We did the beer sampler and they were all really bad. This place seems to always be very busy and I can't understand why. I think it's the... More

Accidentally ended up in the shopping center and decided to stop off for dinner. Seated quickly. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Food was served timely and was excellent. Pulled pork sandwich was top-notch, as were the duck fat fries. Other family members were equally impressed. Could not try the crafted beers due to driving, but will try next time in... More

Decent food, average service, average beer. The food is a step up from your normal pub fare, but it's at a premium price even at Santa Barbara prices. The beer is average, nothing really stands out. This was a favorite when I moved here a few years ago, but since then the prices have gone up while the quality has... More

We ended up here on graduation weekend today for lunch after a movie. Very busy with grad families celebrating. We only waited 5 minutes which is exactly what the hostess estimated. While service was understandably slow our beer and food were good, the young lady that bussed our table was exceedingly personable. Our waitress was very busy and we felt... More

Clean well lit large "pubbish" placeI picked to meet some friends . Turned out to be great choice, though I picked "blind". We enjoyed great service and we all loved our entrees from a large choice menu, def not usual pub grub calibre. Though we talked and visited a long time, we felt cheerfully welcomed the entire time. The fact... More

Even non-beer drinkers will dig this lively, casual place with really good food. The fish tacos never disappoint. Ask for some if the local green or red hot sauce to kick them up a notch, if you like spice. Soups, pizza, pot pie. There is something for everybody here. Including lots of TVs on the walls, playing various sporting events.
