We ate here for two meals while staying at the Bacara, breakfast and lunch. The food was average - nothing special but not bad. The local vegetable salad was perhaps the best thing we tried on the menu. The service was disappointing during both meals. They forgot things we asked for and did not check back on us for long... Staff was very nice and attentive, and there were heaters at-the-ready for when the weather drops. I had the pizza and the halibut and I thought they were both way too salty and oily.

Bistro : Order the salmon eggs Benedict ...... Mmm pair that with an early morning view and you are set for the day . Simply satisfying ..... Then go walk it off on the trail to the south :) keep it simple or add a nice Bloody Mary :)

The food is excellent at the Bistro and they have a good wine list. If you're staying at the Bacara Resort, it's even better. There is an ocean view from some tables, but you can dine inside if you prefer. The ciopinno is great. The prawns are enormous in their prawn cocktail.

I had the breakfast buffet at the Bistro on a Sunday around 11:30. It was a bit late for a morning but the food was fresh, the berry mix was to die for and you could have your own custom waffle or omelet made to order! There was something for every taste from health-conscious to indulgent!

pretty straightforward pool side food and drinks...sandwiches, burgers etc. Brunch, we did the buffet and it was very good. Perhaps a larger selection of items would help but good all around.

Every meal we had at The Bistro was excellent. The servers were very attentive, friendly and professional. We very much enjoyed the outdoor seating. Everyone went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable.

This is a great little spot for any meal. We ate dinner and breakfast here. Breakfast buffet is a bit pricey yet looked amazing. Drinks were good too. Spendy as well.

The food at The Bistro was really good!! We each had a fish dish which was prepared perfectly, along with a wonderful/fresh salad. Our server was a really nice guy (Landon) and I hope he continues to excel in his career at the Bacara. If you plan on eating here during the summer months, ask for a table outdoors near... More
