Living in Goleta, we eat at Beachside Bar-Cafe many times a year. Located right on the beach, guests can enjoy the view of the waves and the Goleta Pier. Sunset is the ideal time. They even offer "Sundowner Specials" between 5:00 and 6:00 PM! It is best to make reservations because they are usually very busy, especially on weekends.

Visited on a Friday night with reservation. Crowded, but did not wait long after the reservation time. Varied menu. Food prepared well. Even though busy servers were patient with questions and were pleasant throughout the meal.

This restaurant is a bit out of the way but locals know all about it.
