My best friend took me to a birthday lunch at Beachside Bar-Cafe. It was crowded but they seated us in about 20 minutes. They have inside and outside dinning. The waitress was super nice. We both had clam chowder which was delicious with big pieces of clams in it. And we split a fish lunch with fries. The fish and... More

This is a restaurant that is right on the sand with remarkable views of the ocean. The service is good and so is the food. The chowder and Caesar are both fantastic. They have a wide variety menu and can accommodate large parties.

You don't go here for the quality of the food. You go here for the views of the beach and Pacific Ocean. Food is average and nothing to write home about. Drinks are adequate although you might want to ask your waiter to have the bar tender lighten up on the ice/water and go heavier with the actual alcohol. But... More

Beachside restaurant has amazing seafood and views of the Channel Islands. On a nice day, this is the place to go for lunch or dinner. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. With the huge windows, everyone has a great view. After eating, you can walk out on the Goleta pier or watch the birds at the adjacent lagoon (slough)... More

My husband and I ate here on the Fourth of July so we were pleasantly surprised to get a table. We did eat earlier in the evening (6:30 p.m.), so maybe it was harder to get a table as it drew closer to the fireworks time of the evening. The wait staff was all quite friendly, but my husband did... More

Dropped into the Beachside Cafe after some kayaking off of Goleta Beach. Just wanted a little something to take the edge off, so we ordered up some calamari and clam chowder. YUM!! The clam chowder is made in-house and is loaded with clams. The calamari is *lightly* breaded and fried up right. The squid is the star here, not the... More

We were camping up at El Capitan State Beach and had been traveling all day in our motorhome and were ready to settle for anything that was close. We found this place on Trip Advisor and are we glad we did. Great view, great service and great food. Appetizers, soups, salads and entrees were all outstanding. It was real busy... More

I found this place through Trip Advisor as a place to kill some time while waiting to pick up a friend from the Santa Barbara Airport. I couldn't be more pleased. Nice, casual, beachside restaurant. Prices seemed reasonable and the menu had a good assortment for lunch. They have both outdoor and indoor seating and are accommodating for those who... More
