A Hidden Jewel

They offer the best food at a reasonable price. They offer healthy options and FRESH food. They always have something like a special salad that they offer until it's gone.

Best breakfast!! Stopped in with friends and we were pleasantly surprised how healthy and yummy our breakfast was... Only disappointment is we leave this afternoon and won't have another opportunity to have another breakfast there.

The Woodland Kitchen is the perfect place to go for an informal breakfast or lunch. The food is amazingly good--fresh, healthy and inventive. High quality bakery items enhance the creative ingredients and menu. You will not leave hungry--most likely full but feeling good about your healthy choice. It is informal--so best seats are on the picnic tables outside.

They make all the food fresh that day. Once they're sold out that's it! Definitely try the Meza plate salad. Yum! Comes with a variety of fresh pasta salads, vegetables salads, and Hummus.

I've been here a couple of times and have yet to be impressed. They have a tendency to run out of breakfast items (that make up over half of their breakfast menu). The owner is also really rude to her customers (when I was there the second time I saw her yell at a pregnant customer about lack of parking).... More

Hmm. I just want to like it more as a Goleta native. It's almost there but the high-school, cafeteria style service is rough. I couldn't even get a small smile and the person charging you asks you to repeat your order that you just told to the only other person two feet away. Its nothing against this order-at-the-counter style of... More

While day tripping around the area we happened on this great cafe. Food was outstanding, as were the staff, even gave our puppy dog a treat. Try the minted lemonade.

We found this place (world's best used bookstore across the street) and now make a pilgrimage with each trip. Food is always great, counter staff is adorable and friendly. This is one of those restaurants you want to send all of your friends to...(don't miss the Solstice jam if they have it -- amazing!)
