My wife and I ate here for a second time as a convenient break point in a road trip. I had the tongue burrito which was average, although rarely found in many Americanized Mexican restaurants. My wife had a ground beef taco, which had maybe a tablespoon of meat, and a side of frijoles which was OK but little different... More

I have seen this restaurant and always wondered if it was any good. We finally tried it and it was better than good, it was great! The tamales were amazing, so full of meat. We will be ordering some for Christmas. The service was as good as the food. We recognize the owner and discovered he used to work at... More

Nothing bad about this place, but I dont think this is the best Mexican food in the area. Long list of pretty standard mexican food, along with pizza. They have beer and wine cocktails, but not a full bar. I'll try some of the other places in the area before I go out of my way to come here. Nice... More

Authentic Mexican dinning that your friends will enjoy. A must go to if you're in the area. No need to have fill up 100 Characters when it's just real good food and service. Nothing fancy.

Sunday AM... My new favorite Mexican restaurant. Tropical Mexico is an effort; El Tepeyac is too far; La Paloma has become ho-hum; and El Merendero has slipped over the last 30 years. Mauricio's has BIG plates with all the trimmings and are served unexpectedly fast. Classic authentic rice n beans with homemade tortillas. Very large overstuffed tacos. Cheese was fresh... More

Tried Mauricio's for the first time Saturday evening after hearing good things from friends and reading good reviews. Got there before 7pm and the place was packed with quite a few people waiting. Impressive, because they are in a less than prime retail location. After waiting about 20 minutes, we had a very enjoyable meal. Service was good (probably asked... More

When visiting my Mom or brother, this is the restaurant I go to. I celebrated my birthday lunch there last week. Mauricio is always very welcoming, the food is delicious, and the service is prompt and attentive. I eat there at least once a week.

We were headed to the village in Glendora for some sushi when the idea of Mexican food hit us. I had checked Yelp for some recommendations and saw the glowing reviews for Mauricio's. It does not look like much, but are we glad we tried it! We tried several items including the table side guacamole, enchiladas, crispy tacos, chile relleno,... More
