Surprise...Surprise!!

Don't be fooled that this Mexican/pizza restaurant is not fancy, or located in an upscale neighborhood. Don't drive by and say, "Well, maybe we should find somewhere else." This is a hidden jewel in Glendora right on Route 66. How cool is that? Definitely give Mauricio's a chance. As a... read more

Hubby and I came with our daughter for dinner. The place was full, which is usually a good sign. We ordered standard fare - tacos, enchiladas, rice & beans - and weren't blown away by excellence; it was just average. Service was good, though. Would we come here again? Most likely not - there are other places whose food we... More

The food was good but cups we recieved our drinks in were all dirty. I found a mosquito in my drink almost halfway through and food particles in another iced tea cup and in both water cups. If plan on eating here I suggest you bring your own drinks and plastic utensils. Service was also not good. Waitress only came... More

We live down the street so we go every 3 or 4 months hoping its going to get better but it remains just OK. Never have had the pizza. The Mexican juice/waters are OK. I am so disappointed that their cocido (vegetable soup) is so BAD!! Its like they just boil a carrot and potatoes in water!!! Their tacos and... More

Yep! And very good Mexican food and excellent pizza. So now when you're eating with a group of people, everyone can find something to eat on the menu. The owner is a very hard working, personable man. You can tell he takes pride in his restaurant and his staff. He greets everyone as they enter and makes you feel so... More

Mauricio's is a great place for a casual, relaxing, satisfying, excellent Mexican food experience, complete with several flat screen TV's. Mauricio is a wonderful owner/host, hard working and very friendly. He sets a great example for his staff who follow suit; everybody is personable and hard working. He has a terrific gazebo outside, wonderful on a nice day. And, my... More

My wife and I ate here for a second time as a convenient break point in a road trip. I had the tongue burrito which was average, although rarely found in many Americanized Mexican restaurants. My wife had a ground beef taco, which had maybe a tablespoon of meat, and a side of frijoles which was OK but little different... More

I have seen this restaurant and always wondered if it was any good. We finally tried it and it was better than good, it was great! The tamales were amazing, so full of meat. We will be ordering some for Christmas. The service was as good as the food. We recognize the owner and discovered he used to work at... More

Nothing bad about this place, but I dont think this is the best Mexican food in the area. Long list of pretty standard mexican food, along with pizza. They have beer and wine cocktails, but not a full bar. I'll try some of the other places in the area before I go out of my way to come here. Nice... More
