My dad first took me here in the 60's. I live in AZ now but I try to stop by whenever we're in town. Use to grab a shredded pork with hot sauce and park a few blocks away by a park area. Always liked the ranch style house along side. Great sandwiches and a wonderful family.

I grew up eating at Pecos Bill's. It is a walk up place. Don't expect fancy but the food is fantastic! It has always been family owned and operated. My husband and I, when we visit Glendale, go there for bbq beef sandwiches & their beans then take it to Griffith Park nearby and eat. I highly recommend Pecos Bill's... More

Not your typical so. cal. BBQ and not put together by an X Chef from a trendy rib place. The place looks Iike it's out of a scene from "The Grapes Of Wrath" old time BBQ, nothing fancy and totally old time American. Don't expect "Sweet" BBQ sauce on there sandwiches or ribs. What you can expect is a taste... More

Went there for lunch and I must say that I have never not considered finishing a pulled pork sandwich in my life until now. Did not enjoy any part of it. Will not be going back.

We went there for lunch. The sign said they were open till they ran out of meat which is usually a good sign. I was disappointed with the flavor and the quality of the pulled pork sandwich. Is was so messy I had to eat it with a fork. Not impressed

My boyfriend and I were driving around running errands in Burbank last Saturday and we saw a line in front of Pecos Bill's BBQ. If there is a line at a hole-in-the-wall, it becomes a "Must Try" place for us. We each had a pulled-pork sandwich, lemonade and we shared a coleslaw. We have now found a new favorite local... More

I took my sons there about 12 years ago and we still eat there when we want barbeque. Everything made there, fresh and delicious. They close early, so plan to go for lunch. Get the cole slaw and the lemonade. All the sandwiches are good. You'll be hooked.

This is one of those places that you must try at least once (and if you do, you'll be back for more). Unassuming take out with a simple menu that does it right. Ask for the special hot sauce and you will be in Pecos Heaven.

I have been eating there for twenty years. I always order the pork with hot sauce. The home made slaw and lemonade are delicious. Grab plenty of napkins!

Don't expect more than great barbecue. You will sit at a table on the sidewalk in an industrial area on the edge of Glendale. Just make sure you order an Okie Beef sandwich. Ask for extra sauce.
