There aren't many choices in the Glendale-Burbank area when it comes to seafood. But, Clancy's has been a dependable destination since we started coming here a decade ago. First, their martinis...outstanding. They're served in a small stemmed glass, accompanied by a full cruet floating in ice water. Now that's chilled. Haven't tried the gumbo here, so I had a cup.... I had chowder and a white fish with saffron rice. The fish is always done well. I learned that I prefer my chowder less salty and I don't like saffron rice. I have been with a group for their evening special, which offers a discount. It looks like most seafood restaurants inside, our service was good, plenty of food. The... More

A small group were looking for a place for dinner on a Friday in Lent.... Clancy's came to mind. It's a large establishment but they seated us quickly. We never all got menus but we like to share anyways. The food came out in a timely manner and was hot and tasty. There was a wide selection taken at the... More

Want dinner without the din of dozens of other conversations and background noise? Want to be able to chat quietly with your dinner partner? Want excellent service? Want GREAT food? How about a bit of ambiance you can really enjoy? My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Manila Steamed Clams appetizer and then the Thursday Special of Stuffed Sole. The... More

Dinner at Clancy's was average, but not much more than that. The choice of beers is very good. I ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell and they were very good. My date and I both ordered the "Shrimp Boat" dinner. The fries were good and so was the coleslaw. The shrimp were not that great. They were heavily... More

This eatery has been around serving a variety of fishes done your way. Fried, blackened and just plain grilled. Full bar serving a variety of beers on tap. Happy hour in a side bar too. Casual attire always nice.

The was really good...had the mesquite salmon and crab legs. Service could have been better, however the manager got us a new waitress and things were more on the up!

I love this place! It is on the outskirts of the shopping district in Glendale, but it doesn't matter. You won't be disappointed. The food is fresh, plentiful, with a waiter who reminds me of a guy who just came to see what California was about, and brought the Chicago/Boston/New York attitude with him -- professional, knowledgeable, helpful when you... I have been to Clancy's occasionally for many years and have always enjoyed it. Ambiance is casual and warm and the food is always good. My friend usually orders the whole deep fried cat fish and it is a great presentation and crispy and moist. I usually order fish, but their steaks are also excellent. On this occasion, Mom was... This was my first time eating here and I was surprised to find such fresh and tasty food. I love sea food and am quite picky when it comes to lobster but for 50 dollars to get lobster and a filet that was this high quality is well worth 5 stars. Nice quiet environment with tasteful decor. Will definitely come... More
