From the reviews, I expected more...only average and nothing more. Picked this place on my birthday for a quiet dinner with my husband. Both of us thought it was just average, both food and service. Will not be back...so many other options all around this place.

We have dined at every Italian restaurant in the area and Far Niente is the best. The super thin pizza dough bread that they provide is worth the visit alone. The pastas and entrees all include a salad and the food is creative and excellent. It's a nice atmosphere, feels like a small New York restaurant.

We were exhausted after travelling all day from the east coast. Far Niente was a welcome treat located in a very pretty little town. My husband's coq au vin was the best I have ever had. My sea bass was cooked perfectly, and my sister's salmon ravioli well crafted and wonderfully seasoned. The waiter was not only handsome, but very... More

Wow is the food great here. I've always gone into the bar side for Happy Hour and that's always really good. EVERYTHING we had was top notch. First of all, the service is excellent! Excellent! This place is always busy and has quite a nice buzz inside- more of a romantic atmosphere than fun/hip type place. Nevertheless it's really nice.... More

All I can say is I wish I could hop on a plane tonight for a fab dinner. I had diver scallops prepared in a light cream sauce and out of this world. Another party had the Sea Bass which is the best I have ever eaten. Our waiter was fun and engaging as well. Don't skip if in the... More

this was our first time and had no expectations. just looking for a casual italian meal. our service was good. house salad rather bland and nothing special. our entrees were tasty and reasonably priced, but again nothing special. limited wine list, especially their italian wines, but what they had seemed fairly priced. we will keep it on our list when... I rarely write an entirely negative review but my single experience at this restaurant was so bad, it deserves comment. I have never eaten at this restaurant. The reason is that the staff was so rude my husband and I left before we could have a meal there. We made reservations, arrived on time and let the staff know we... More

This has a great old-school Italian restaurant vibe. Menu choices are varied and include a lot more than pasta. Wait staff are professional and attentive

I've been going here for years and I have to say the food and service has always been top notch. The setting is a bit dark at times and I will say a bit of a refresh will only make this place better.

This is another good Brand Boulevard restaurant which is Italian. We came here after having already eaten too much during the Labor Day weekend so we ordered mainly salads along with some good wine. That and the generous portions of bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar were enough for a good meal.
