Never ever pay attention to the nay sayers of Damon's. This establishment is a wonderful experience from start to finish . You start it off simply the best Mai Tai one could ever have. Chi Chi's are great as well, the house drinks. The Tiki atmosphere is great. The garlic bread is still one of the best you could ever... More

The first thing you notice when you enter the restaurant (particularly in the Tiki Room ) is the stench of the carpet. The mouldy smell from beer and food was simply off-putting. It was a busy lunchtime when we went So the service was pretty slow. We waited for about 30mins for our food to come. And worst still the... More

We stopped in here on a Saturday evening. Walking in, we did find there is a smell which we were not sure was an indicator of something bad. We sat at the bar and found the bartender serving us the be very personable even though he was extremely busy with things to do. The drinks were very good. We ordered... More

Was visiting LA and taken to Damon's by friends. Love the kitschy ambience. It was crowded on Friday night and somewhat loud but it was happy hour so it was tolerable. Bartenders were very friendly and knew their business. Enjoyed it immensely.

Family has been going here forever, and that is because it delicious ALWAYS! Start your meal off with a delicious made at the table salad, don't change a thing it's perfect as it comes! ticBaseball steaks so tender you can cut them with a fork, twice baked potatoes so rich they flake at a cross word. Fantastic Polynesian theme with... More

Had our long-time favorite: filet, twice-baked potato, house salad & garlic bread. Great meal as always.

It's hard to find Polynesian themed restaurants outside of Trader Vic's and Don the Beachcomber, so to have a long-standing favorite like Damon's in the heart of Glendale is really nice! Unfortunately, the food is average at best. Steaks, fish, ribs are standard fare with a signature house salad featuring iceberg lettuce, celery, beets and Thousand Island dressing. Also popular... This is actually the second time I've been to Damon's, and I've had several of their menu items and have now seen the restaurant both full and nearly empty of customers. Let me say that I think the concept of this place, started over three decades ago at this location, is a good one, but it needs some new eyes... More

Damon's has been our go-to place for special occasions, and our Friday night place since before it was on Brand. An excellent bar, dependable quality and quantity, good service, and a beautiful aquarium! What more could you want? The shrimp brochette is really fabulous, huge and perfectly cooked. The reviewer mentioning "aging without grace" is pretty unnecessarily negative, and I'm... More
