Good food great sandwiches

The title says it all. I like this place , good food, sandwiches , cakes etc but the one thing that bugs me here is that's it's so popular the service can dip. Queues can be long , waiting can be painful. I walk in only if II see the queue is short alternatively I rather buy further down the... read more

Porto's has a bakery side and a café side. If you're looking to get a few sweets but also have lunch as well I recommend going over to the bakery side, checking out the pastry options they have then going over to the café. The bakery line is long, but fast. People order by the dozens. Potato balls, cheese rolls,... More

This is a staple for cheap, decadent good eats. There are 3 locations in Southern California. I frequent the Glendale and Burbank locations. Porto's is notorious for long lines and they move pretty rapidly. Go with your patience intact and an empty belly. There are 3 ways to get your order. The line with everything which also includes a bevy... More

Pastry, cakes, everything in this store is to satisfy your sugar craving. Don't have a favorite but anything I can eat. Store is big so plenty of space and keep it very clean.

Yummy. Tasty. Magnificent. The best pastry in town and the southland. The fruit tarts are legendary and everyone's favorite. The rest of the selections are also very, very good. Have not had anything that disappoints. Always crowded, but for a good reason.

That's what you'll say when you bite into anything from Porto's. There's a reason this "bakery" has such long lines every day! Their pastries are super fresh and delicious. And their sandwiches rival any top sandwich shop in LA. Also . . treat yourself to their potato balls . . they're addictive. For special occasions, their cakes are always a... More

I went to Portos due to the reviews of trip advisor and of my friends. I was so disappointed. The restaurant was so crowded. One of us had to get in line to order while the other had to save a table, There is a food line and then a pastry line. The outdoor seating is so close that chairs... More

Great food and beverages and definitely worth the stop. The lines are a bit long and it can take some time to get what you want but it's worth it. They do have a separate line if you just want coffee. Everything is so fresh and they have outdoor seating great for when it's not too hot and you just... More

Everything about Porto's is excellence. This is more then just a Bakery, its serves, sandwiches, salads, coffee, and tea. They make excellence baguettes of all kinds. Their Fruit Tart has become our go to item for dessert when having people over for Dinner. It is crowded but they do a good job of moving people through, and the wait is... More
