Were rushed but got a quick parking spot. Almost left because of crowds but glad we didn't. The lines were quick. We got 2 sandwiches including a Cuban chicken and Cuban beef sandwich. Yummy! Wish this restaurant was in San Rafael

On the look out for a late breakfast spotted this busy place in a fairly quiet street. Parked up and was amazed at how busy it was. 2 huge restaurant spaces both full. When a place is that busy it's a sign that something is good, and sure enough the coffee was excellent and the pastry selection all looked tempting.... More

They have the very best cakes you'll ever eat. I've tried a few different ones that were provided at potlucks and parties and they were all fantastic! Of course, all the pastries, cookies, smoothies and sandwiches are fantastic as well. Can you tell I'm a big fan?! Also the staff keeps the lines moving pretty quickly so you don't have... More

We have enjoying Porto's since it was a little bakery in Glendale years ago. While the size has changed the quality of the food has stayed the same. If you go in the morning for pastries don't let the long line drive you away, they make sure it moves quickly and the reward is wonderful fresh delights. You can't go... More

Another establishment that has learned to efficiently deal with extreme popularity. Mobbed on a late Saturday morning but still got our order in a reasonable time.

I like Porto's. I am no evangelist or rabid fan. I don't understand the hype. Everything I ever had from breakfast sandwich, pastries, catered affairs- all were really really good. Parking is a pain. The hectic atmosphere has sent me right back out the door. The different lines I find confusing and it always feels like I am in the... More

The food at this place is so good that you can forgive the hour-long lines. We love love love the meat pies and potato balls. There is nothing like it around, and the food it consistently excellent.
