Always Stop When in Town

Great food and beverages and definitely worth the stop. The lines are a bit long and it can take some time to get what you want but it's worth it. They do have a separate line if you just want coffee. Everything is so fresh and they have outdoor seating great for when it's not too hot and you... read more

Everything about Porto's is excellence. This is more then just a Bakery, its serves, sandwiches, salads, coffee, and tea. They make excellence baguettes of all kinds. Their Fruit Tart has become our go to item for dessert when having people over for Dinner. It is crowded but they do a good job of moving people through, and the wait is... More

If you want an authentic Cuban bakery/cafe like in Miami, then head to Porto's. My husband who travel to Miami often, says Porto's is heads above the anything found there. A family run business for years in Glendale, and now in Downey and Burbank. Guava cheese pastries are the best. The cakes are perfect for every occasion and they keep... More

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the lines. The food though is definitely worth the wait. I have had cheesecake, cookies, cake and their sandwiches, all great! Best time to go to avoid long waits is during the week at non peak times.

i was brought food from Porto's, I didn't visit personally. It was some of the best food I have ever had from a restaurant/bakery. I am visiting the L.A area and will definately make a visit before leaving.

You can get almost anything you want here......great sandwiches, salads, breakfast, pastries, etc. Everything is fresh and delicious. There is a reason there are always lines......but the management has a system and does a good job of managing the crowds. Well worth the wait. Highly recommend!

Loved the food! The scrambled eggs and ham croissant for breakfast is yummy! But some hiccups are there... No wifi for a starter, so not inclined to go frequently. And as helpful as the staff tries to be, there is constant confusion behind the counter..yes, we have it, no we don't.. Yesterday morning I asked for the eggs and ham... More
