Very delicious steaks though mine was practically moo'ing despite asking for medium rare. Nicely prepared veggies. Delicious bread and butter. Wonderful ambiance. A star taken off for not good dessert choices.... creme brule with too many ingredients does not a good creme brule make! They tried... read more

We stayed at the Glen Ellenn Inn for a night, and gave the restaurant a try. We sat outside on the large ovation which was nice. Service was average, and nothing worth writing about. We triedthe fried oysters with tobassco butter as an appetizer. The menu said three, but four came in the plate. The oysters were large, but had... More

This used to be our favorite restaurant to go to when visiting the wine country. In fact, we always saved it as our last dinner of the trip because it was always a special place to go. Unfortunately, the things which once made it special are no longer there...starting with the menu. The extensive martini list and the option to... More

The wine list at the Glen Ellen Inn is the broadest and deepest of any restaurant in Sonoma County. By way of example, there are 6 separate vintages of Chateau St. Jean Cinq Cepages and 8 separate vintages of Opus One. There are lots of hard to find Sonoma County and Napa County producers. Most offerings are very fairly priced.... More

My fiancee had the salmon salad and I had the fish tacos. You could tell both were made with fresh ingredients and both were very good. Service was good and the staff friendly and helpful. I think the tacos, although very good, could have used a little more zing. We sat outside and the place is very nice. Surprising find... More

This is one of the best restaurants in the area. The Inn is a fun, funky older building with a casual and cool vibe. Service was wonderful, friendly and professional. A waitress at another restaurant had recommended this place and especially raved about the mussels, and she was right. These were some of the best mussels I have ever had.... More

Found this place by accident. We were headed to The Star in Glen Ellen as per the reviews in TA, since the Host at The Star was so rude to my wife because we didn't have reservations on a Thursday night, she decided on the spot to leave. We drove down a bit and noticed the Inn. Walked in and... More

Overall nice restaurant with good food and good value. The night we were there, we had the shrimp bisque and crab potsticker appetizer which were good. The wild boar and dunguese crab pasta entrees were large but both were very good. Definitely an enjoyable dinner.
