Flavorful food and atmosphere for a fun St. Patrick's Day lunch.

I walked in at lunch and was able to find a seat at the bar immediately, which was great because it was St. Patrick's Day. I had to wait a bit for the bartender to acknowledge me, but once he did the service was very good. The cornbeef was very tender and tasty, but there was too much cabbage... read more

We were in town for Gilroy Garlic Festival & our party of 6 had just arrived....place was recommended by our RV park & we were pleasantly surprised! First off, Janee, our waitress, was amazing & the owner, Mike stopped by to check in on us & also taught us a bit about Ireland & regional foods there. The food was... More

Very nice place. Walked in and sat right down and hey we're pretty busy the waitress was there as soon as we sat down to make sure that the table was ok for us. We had a couple of questions about some of the items and she was very helpful about them. The menu is small but a great variety... More

Food is good not to many choices but what theu did have was good. Service was well below expectations. We sat at the bar because there seemed to be only one person running the whole thing, thought it would be faster service. When we ordered it was a simple app and drinks. The bartender was at the bar the whole... More

I always love coming here. The atmosphere is fun Irish and reminds me of Ireland. The food is always good, from Shepherds Pie to, fish & chips and of course corned beef served any which way. Service is always friendly and you feel welcomed.

My family has been going here, off & on, for the last 3 years. We've met & spoken with the owner who is actually from the UK so in that respect it is an 'authentic' Pub. Each time we go we have a different experience. The service is sporadic: one time it will be acceptable, the next horrible. I would... More

When you walk in, the building doesn't shout "pub" but don't let that scare you off. These people have pub in their hearts. Excellent selection of beers & ales whiskies, etc. and the food is very good, I have had the BEST Calamari (yes, calamari) there, better than at seafood restaurants in SF or Monterey. Banger sandwich is excellent and... More

Arrived at the pub with a date and was excited for a nice evening and good food! Seated our selves and waited and waited and waited. People were being helped all around us, but not one of the 5 waitresses there, so much as acknowledge us. Not a hello, can I take a drink order or even a smile. A... More

This place is overall a great place to eat. I see the owner on a regular basis getting fresh ingredients for his menu at the grocery store. (unique thing to know- nothing is ever frozen, only cooked fresh). I have to admit i am a sucker for their shepards pie. Its pretty amazing. Their fish and chips is also great... More

I had lunch today at The Claddagh and came away very impressed - and very full. Large comfortable area - a bit large for a real pub "feel" but was nevertheless tastefully decorated. Large portions, very reasonably priced and varied menu makes this place a winner and "the owner's husband", Mike, stopped by several times to check on things. Great,... More
