We met a number of friends for an evening of food, drinks and dancing Garlic Festival weekend. What a great time and Milias had a big part in this. The bartenders were pleasant and made terrific cocktails and our food was spot on. The grilled avocado and shrimp was delicious and filling. They offer an extensive appetizer menu which would... We decided to try some place new. The four of us had never been here before. Food was outstanding. I agree with James W, the only detriment is it is very noisy. Appears that many locals hang out there on Fridays evenings. Fun atmosphere.

This was a great lunch find for us on our way back to the Bay Area from Santa Barbara. The food was well prepared and the service attentive. We loved the historic room with the western theme. Next time we would like to eat lunch at the beautiful horseshoe shaped bar. Fun place!

I have eaten here a few times since the recent remodel. The people are great. The place can be a bit noisy as the floors are tile and there are high ceilings. ITs a bit hard to have a conversation but not unbearable. I wouldn't call it a romantic night as its noise level is high. It has a great... More

My husband and I went to Milias at the last minute a few Friday's ago. We decided to sit at the bar to have a drink before we took a table and ended up staying at the bar the whole time. Everyone was so friendly: the owners, the bartenders and all the other people at the bar. We share 3-4... More

Food and service was excellent. The room is pretty noisy with all the patrons and the band so it would not be the place to go for a quite friday evening meal but generally it was excellent.

We had a company Christmas party here. Appetizers were delicious and the creme brulle was very good and smooth. I had the filet and my girl friend had the Kobe New York. Both were just ok. I first had to send mine back because it was over done and then I had to switch it with the New York cut... More

Not only does The Milias provide the hungry client with a delicious and unique dining experience but you get a taste of California history as well. My 92 year old mother, husband and I stopped here on our way to join our family in Monterrey for a Thanksgiving feast. We were pleased we could eat "lightly" but still be 100%... More

I was fortunate to be visiting an aunt and uncle in Gilroy. They took me to Milias. What a great place. It has restored architectural features, a busy bar with live entertainment, excellent food, and a great serving staff. Our waiter, Edgar, was very knowledgeable of the restaurant and the menu. He made great suggestions and took good care of... More

My experience at The Milias Restaurant started with the Fire Roasted Artichokes and Prosciutto Wrapped Goat Cheese followed by a Green Salad before the Kobe Baseball Cut Top Sirloin. All I can say is WOW! My wife had the scallops and shrimp, the scallops were perfectly cooked to be firm but extremely tender, the Apricot Chardonnay sauce was an incredible... More
