Incredibly good food and reasonably priced. The portions are large and we ended up having to take our leftovers home. It seemed a little weird having such a trendy restaurant located in the middle of an outlet mall, but I would definitely go out of my way to eat here again.

I liked the vegetarian "chicken" (probably seitan) and vegetable rolls we shared as an appetizer. My vegan friend had to request changing nuts for tofu twice on her entree. The selection of dishes for vegetarians or vegans seems large to me compared with surrounding area restaurants. The wine list is good. The menu is extremely varied and maybe they are... More

The food is alright at the Ginger Cafe but nothing special. The have recently changed their menu in a big way, and not for the better! The selections are limited, specially for the vegetarians and pescatarians. They are not very accommodating for food allergies or substitutions. Today's visit was just as disappointing as the last time. The service was merely... More

Stopped in for lunch in a party of three. Setting is quite nice and relaxing and conveniently located amongst the Gilroy outlets. We all had lunch specials; the mango chicken in a coconut milk and cashew preparation was sweet and full of flavor. The hot and sour soup was OK, but everyone's rice was on the cold side. The Mongolian... More

This café, tucked in the outlets in Gilroy is a great find. It's located in the stores across from the Home Depot. Beautiful surroundings, delicious food, great mojitos, what's not to like. Clearly the best Chinese food in the area!

Visited the Ginger Cafe' for lunch with a group of 6 for lunch. Service was above average. Restaurant was clean. Food was fresh and served hot. Our table ordered a mixed appetizer tray with entres. Food was good - above average - not fantastic. I'd visit again for a lunch.

Modern CA decor with tastful touches of the orient. Wide choice of lunch specials around $8-10, dinner mainly in the $12-15 range. Large selection of veggie dishes. Dim sum is a speciality. I ate lunch there - had the Dim Sum Sampler with 10 pieces of 5 types for $13 - the Dim Sums were huge, and I could not... More

I previously reviewed this restaurant in May 2013 in regards to a take out order for a party of eleven. This visit, a party of 4 ate at the restaurant and the result was much better! The take out rating I gave was only very good. This time, the dine-in meal was excellent. We ordered Pepper Steak. It was tender... More
