We went to this restaurant as we were craving seafood after a day of wine tasting. We were immediately seated by a semi-friendly waitress, but in her defense she was not rude, just not very friendly. We ended up eating a fish plate that was very good, the Greek lemon/?lime soup that was surprisingly very tasty. I ended up eating... More

My husband and I eat breakfast at the Longhouse every Saturday. Our food is consistently good. The wait staff is always welcoming. Weekend mornings are especially busy, so get there early. Definetly a favorite of many local Gilroyans.

This is a fun Greek restaurant with many nice Greek specialties many featuring lots of fresh garlic. After all Gilroy is the Garlic Capital!

We have eaten here before and always enjoy returning when we are in the Gilroy area. They have a nice Greek menu(love their lamb shanks) as well as a variety of other items

The food is unremarcable and unimpressive, at best. The prices are too high for this class of restaurant. The service is slow and sloppy. Examples: The salad is just pieces of iceberg lettuce (the cheapest and least nutritional variety of lettuce) with dressing - nothing else added! (like croutons, carrots, nuts, etc.) The "Greek Soup" is some tasteless thick yellow... More

Took a friend to Tasso's last evening for dinner and we were please to see the same attentive folks running the restaurant. It has been a year since we were in the area so things could change. Not only were the folks the same, the meals were of the same excellent quality we have come to anticipate in this now... More

I knew they would enjoy the food, the ambiance and the service is I could just relax and enjoy my meal too. The service staff is very good at accommodating any changes you request in your meal and since we all have chronic or acute medical conditions se had plenty!

We had a very good meal on New Years Eve with a group of friends. The bar tender and the owners were great to joke around with. A great atmosphere and a very friendly staff makes for an enjoyable time. We highly recommend this restaurant.

My mom and stepdad used to celebrate special times at Tasso's and were very friendly with the owners. My stepdad passed away but my mom sometimes enjoys a nice dinner there. The last time I went with my family, some of us got a great meal and some of us didn't. As an example, one order of ribeye steak was... More
