I have been here 3 times, and have enjoyed it each time. The food is very good and the service is always great. I have sat at the bar each time for lunch - so I can't say what the dinner crowd is like. It's usually pretty quiet at lunchtime, but that is just fine by me.

My husband and I went to Catelli's last night for dinner and can truthfully say, it is one of the best meals we have had in quite a while. The Caprese Salad was the best....the blending of flavors was unbelievable.....I wish we had not shared it! For dinner, we had the Pasta of the Moment...penne with sungolds, shitake mushrooms and... We stopped by Catelli's for lunch while on the wine trail. We seated outside under some shade. This is a old time restaurant with some great Family history. Pictures on the wall were interesting to view. The staff told us some history of the pictures. I had a kale salad with a pesto chicken breast. A light lemon dressing like... More

Very good food and a tasty meat sauce. Calamari was crispy, wines are good--you already know the lasagna was good. Unfortunately they were out of house made Limoncello, they did comp me a frangelico instead:) Rest rooms are clean, service was excellent.

The first time I was at what was then called "The Rex" was when my wife's (then girlfriend's) family took me there. They had been going for many years, and knew the Catelli family. To give you an idea of how long ago that was, we saw Raymond Burr at one of the tables there (he was a regular at... More

Thank you so much for your review. We are delighted you came back to join us. Next time you are here, please let me or my brother, Nick, know. We always enjoy meeting people who use to eat at our father and grandparents restaurant and hear the stories from back then. Happy 4th of July weekend. Hope to see you... More

This is my favorite restaurant that I have found in Sonoma County since I relocated over a year ago. The service is spectacular. One of the owners, Nick, is always accommodating at the door, while the co-owner in the kitchen, Domenica, puts out some fabulous, affordable Italian dishes. The new outdoor seating is comfortable and relaxing. Corkage is minimal, but... More

We came here as a very hungry family group of 9 after walking through Armstrong Redood forrest. There aren't too many dining choices in this area, but you don't need many with this place around! It was very quiet here on a Saturday afternoon in May, but I can tell the restaurant is able to accomodate a large crowd. We... More

My husband is very picky about his ribeye, and he enjoyed this immensely at Catelli's. We also got the burrata/proscuitto appetizer, and it was delicious. Highly recommend the kale salad as well. Staff was very friendly and attentive, and the ambience was lively yet romantic.

Geyserville has a zillion wineries , one short Main Street, a terrific little coffee bar, and two restaurants. This is the very definition of what you would think to be a sleepy town. However, enter the doors of Catelli's and you know why this is a destination for the entire Sonoma region. My husband and I shared four small plates... More

Over 50 years ago, my family would eat at The Rex (now called Catelli's, The Rex). Back then, patrons were served "family style." A large bowl of soup and salad came with the dinner. Today, that's gone. Of course, the restaurant is much more upscale, inside and out. On this visit, we ate on the patio which is very nice.... More

Hi, Thank you so much for your review. We take our feedback very seriously, and we truly apologize for the reservation mismanagement and the check issue. As you may know, we just recently opened our remodeled patio, and we are still working out the kinks in service. Nick and I both remember the family style service that our grandmother and... More
