Since we heard it's crowded for lunch, we tried it for a quick dinner and were not disappointed. We ordered the grilled garlic fish which came with rice, the grilled Cajun salmon salad (mixed greens, cranberries, candied walnuts, lightly sweet dressing - YUMMY) and a side order of catfish nuggets. If they had a few dipping sauces for the fish... More

I hesitate to review the California Fish Grill as it is already crowded during the weekday lunch hour. This is a regular weekly lunch stop for me as the fish is fresh, grilled before your eyes on an open grill, and very reasonably priced. You order your fresh grilled fish at the counter, add rice (brown or white), French fries,... More

I've been here a few times the past year and I recommend the grilled garlic & herb white fish. Everything is good but that's my personal favorite. Their dishes are simple, super tasty & affordable. There's usually a line but it moves fairly quickly & your food is cooked to order so you'll wait about 10-15 minutes for your food... More

Have eaten many lunches here - would recommend anything on their menu but, personally, I love the Calamari! It is always packed but worth the wait. Their salsa bar is excellent and their tartar sauce is some of the best I have ever eaten. If you want tasty fish, at a decent price, this is the place for you.

Will not disappoint. We were looking for a quick spot to have lunch while traveling for work. Good and atmosphere were great.

1st time here EVER. I don't know why we hadn't been here before since we've visited the other restaurants in the same shopping center. I honestly thought it was expensive since it's one of the nicer looking restaurants here. That is FAR from the truth, I ordered Fish & Chips for $8.00. NOT only does it fill you up but... More

I love seafood and I love Mexican food...this place has the best shrimp burritos and fish tacos in Gardena, served with beans & rice with a great salsa bar. They also serve traditional sea food if you're interested in that.

Whenever I'm close to a California fish grill and I always make it point to go war lunch there. The Cajun style fish (either the Tilapia or trout) is awesome. Comes with rice or fries and cole slaw. Flavor & value are worth it to enjoy the fish. This place is always on top of my list for lunch. This... More

I usually get the trout. They offer garlic or cajun dressing....both are great. The trout is grilled right in front of you and served on a bed of rice or you can ask for grilled zuccini or both. Comes with a side of slaw and a piece of bread. Place is always crowded around meal times, but the fish is... More

What a lively place this is! At lunch, all the tables were filled, people ordering at the counter, then picking up their orders as their numbers were shouted out. The fish dishes we ordered were good but not great, but the prices were very reasonable. The totillas for the shrimp tacos were grocery store quality, and the mild flavor of... More
