March Madness of tasty Italian culinary delights. Don't let the location or prices stop you. Com'on in.
Very good restaurant. It's a family style restaurant somewhat like a Buca di Beppo. but the servings are smaller and consequently not as pricey. We had a couple of pasta dishes and a couple of pizzas. Everything tasted great. My buddy told me that this was Northern Italy style food so a bit different from your usual Italian restaurant. Do not let the area discourage you. This restaurant looks like it is in an old abandoned warehouse and the atmosphere on the inside gives you the impression you are eating in a mom-and-pop factory. Do not walk out because what the ambience lacks, the taste more than makes up for it. It appears everything on the menu is homemade.... More
This is my third time there and it's been very good each time. The wait staff is attentive and the food well-prepared. For a thin crust pizza, it was quite good. We had the house salad, some pasta, and a pizza. My only comment was that the food was not hot - sort of warm. Had the gelato for dessert... More
We stopped by this place this morning to grab a coffee before a meeting and I LOVED the atmosphere. The coffee was sooooo good too! We came back with our clients for lunch. I had the penne con gamberi (penne with shrimp) and it was perfectly prepared. We also got a margherita pizza for the table to share which was... More
I have been an infrequent guest here for the past 2 years, but went back recently for lunch, and they have not missed a beat. The service can be erratic in terms of level of experience of the servers, but they are always attentive. The food is wonderful. The Rock pizza, Gnocchi Pesto, and the Carbonara are all highlights. Everything... More
On travel in the area for business and went here on the suggestion of a coworker. First thought was that there was no way we were finding good authentic Italian food in this area of town. Was I forever wrong! I ordered the calzone which came with ham, mushrooms, onions, cheese and sauce and I had them add arugula. The... More
This is a great spot for real Italian food. The location is a little different. It's in the middle of warehouses and industrial type places but it's worth the drive and there's something about the location that feels like you're in on some secret place or hidden gem. Fresh well prepared food for all meals. Breakfast is a great deal... More
My daughter lives in Gardena and suggested that we give this place a try as she had heard good things about it. Let me say that the ambiance was just terrific. The ceiling must be about fifteen feet high, and the way the tables were set up truly reminded me of something you might find in Italy. The waiter was... More
Restaurant is in an industrial area, small parking lot. Best to find street parking. Lunch is busy, a little loud. No booths, tables are close together. Pizza is very good, really thin crust, very light. Fish was surprisingly good. Recommend sharing a pizza & a pasta dish.
