Top notch thin crust pizza

Simply the best thin crust pizza I've had in America. There are several criteria for my rating, the crust was thin to the edge and not burned on the rim so you can eat it all. The neighborhood is not the greatest but the shrimp and arugula risotto was perfect - literally. The risotto was perfectly done and packed with perfectly cooked shrimp. My son's carbonara brimmed with flavor - definitely not the run-of-the mill heavy cream sauce with bacon thrown in that passes for carbonara today. The gelato can holds it's own against any found... Set in an unassuming industrial area of Gardena, Eatalian surprises with extremely good, very thin crusted pizzas, as well as an assortment of pastas and large salads. Best of all, though, may be the gelato. They have many flavors and all that I have tried are good or better. Cappuccino was fantastic. Service is friendly, although occasionally slow. All in... Firstly, I would like to say that there is Italian cuisine, and Italian-American cuisine, and there are differences. Eatalian Cafe is definitely the former. While the location is in a remote area that is not the best, it is definitely worth visiting. The ambiance is not very traditional, and has the feel of a factory. In fact, this place started... We have been dining at this restaurant since they opened. The family that owns this establishment is from Italy. Almost all ingredients are imported from Italy and everything is made on the premises. Wonderful pasta dishes and thin crust pizzas with unique toppings make this restaurant worth the drive to its industrial location.

Second time eating here. Same hip and nice atmosphere. The food is average, but gellato is great! Worth the visit if you are looking for a decent restaurant in the Gardena area. The biggest problem I find is the parking at lunch time. Really hard to find a space, so be aware!!

I was working a few blocks away from this place and 12 of us ordered food. I had the pizza. It was thin and I was told that it is very authentic. It was about $12 for a 12" pizza. I was able to eat 1/2 of it. My friend ate the whole thing. Others ordered sandwiches and they were... More

Not a safe place. A waiter stole my car and gave it to his Tow friend. I talked to the manager and she was a racist to me. She evidently was in on the scam. I was stared at during my meal and the waiter thief was caught by me near my car and examining it. I wen t back... More

Very good restaurant. It's a family style restaurant somewhat like a Buca di Beppo. but the servings are smaller and consequently not as pricey. We had a couple of pasta dishes and a couple of pizzas. Everything tasted great. My buddy told me that this was Northern Italy style food so a bit different from your usual Italian restaurant. Some... More
