Italian cuisine in Gardena

From Georgia and looking for a decent meal. Pulled up TripAdvisor and found this place highly rated and reasonably priced. When you drive down Broadway looking for it, you will drive right past it. Based on how it looked from the outside And the industrial location, I almost passed. Glad I didn't! Awesome authentic Italian (don't let the name fool... More

This is in an industrial area in what appears to have been a warehouse and not much has been done to it. Our group of 11 was handled very well with great service. The pizzas are a good size and very thin crust. The 4 Stagione pizza has 4 toppings that each was only on two slices. The salads were... More

We love this place. Its unique setting makes it a fun causal place to go. The food is very good, the service is great, love the gelato bar and bakery.

In Turin, Italy there is the Eatly which is huge converted factory that sells various foods, wines and pots and pans to cook them in as well as restaurants. Eatalian was so similar in the feel and ambiance I expected to hear Italian spoken. The pizza was better than Italy because the sauce there tends to be watery and gets... More

Simply the best thin crust pizza I've had in America. There are several criteria for my rating, the crust was thin to the edge and not burned on the rim so you can eat it all. They offer hot pepper oil on the table (like in southern Europe), the perfect condiment for pizza (instead of dry red pepper flakes). They... More

The neighborhood is not the greatest but the shrimp and arugula risotto was perfect - literally. The risotto was perfectly done and packed with perfectly cooked shrimp. My son's carbonara brimmed with flavor - definitely not the run-of-the mill heavy cream sauce with bacon thrown in that passes for carbonara today. The gelato can holds it's own against any found... Set in an unassuming industrial area of Gardena, Eatalian surprises with extremely good, very thin crusted pizzas, as well as an assortment of pastas and large salads. Best of all, though, may be the gelato. They have many flavors and all that I have tried are good or better. Cappuccino was fantastic. Service is friendly, although occasionally slow. All in... Firstly, I would like to say that there is Italian cuisine, and Italian-American cuisine, and there are differences. Eatalian Cafe is definitely the former. While the location is in a remote area that is not the best, it is definitely worth visiting. The ambiance is not very traditional, and has the feel of a factory. In fact, this place started...
