Long, LONG wait but it's worth it. I've been here a few times and love the shrimp and King Crab legs! Always fresh and I always get the whole shabang. It can get a little messy because you peel and eat as you go but they have napkins and bibs for you. I've also tried their oysters, crawfish, and clams... More

The Boiling Crab is my first experience eating cajun seafood in a bag. Its messy and its delicious, and unfortuantely 100's of people agree, because getting a table at ANY of their locations can be hard to to. The average wait is 45 minutes, and i've heard some are as long as 2 hours. Is it worth it? Some say... More

My family and I have been going for 5 years now and often dine there. But be aware that it is starting to change and I was a but disappointed!. First it was sold recently and cut backs are appearing. First the flavor is different in the sause chabang or cajian It is very oily and it separates from the... More

Had dinner here after spending a day Disneyland, and it was well worth the 45 min wait! We had the clams in lemon & pepper sauce, and the King Crab and Blue Crab in the Whole Shebang sauce - super fresh (trust me, we're from HK, so we know our fresh crab) and the sauce really makes the meal! It... More

First time here and had no idea what I had in store. A family member brought us here one day. Two of my kids DO NOT like shrimp, and they had a choice of chicken strips and rice and corn, which was perfect! All I can say is that, the two kids that did not like shrimp, they took over... More

I've been to a similar place in Hawaii called Raging Crab, so I was excited when I heard about this place! We were in town for Disneyland for a weekend and I've mentioned it to my boyfriend MANY times that we had to make a stop. The wait was about 30 minutes at 8:30pm on a Friday night. Worth the... More

First of all you can eat with the hand, you dont need forks or knifes. Fair prices, good beers. Ask for a garlic shrimp. The best!!!!!

This was my 2nd visit to The Boiling Crab on Brookhurst. I choose this location cause there's a bakery in the center & The Boiling Crab allows you to bring in a loaf of bread cause they don't offer bread. The food was awesome. I had king crab legs, corn, shrimp, potatoes & sausage all seasoned with the whole shabang... More

You get your choice of seafood in big clear bags with the crazy spicy sauces and you open up the steaming bags of goodness and dive in. we tried the clams, shrimp, crawfish, corn on the cob and the Cajun chicken wings which were fantastic. its definitely a unique experience. there's no cutlery or crockery you just eat straight on... Ate here with 2 friends on the last day of our USA trip in early May. I must say that this place is beyond our expectations! They will call for your name when they are ready to show you to your table. This definitely beats waiting for a queue number, like in many Chinese restaurants here back home. Something unique...
