The atmosphere was fun. The crab legs were delicious. I love the yellow plastic tool that helps split the crab legs. Made getting all that delicious meat much easier.
Have been to this restaurant twice, at the pleading of a relative. The food has always been overcooked and overpriced. Last time, we had to share two shell cracking tools for our table of 6 people because they said they didn't have any more. What? Maybe they get stolen for souvenirs. It's loud, making the atmosphere seem frantic. When we... More
We had dinner at JCS last night and it was my first time dining at this restaurant. Food was good, happy hour prices are excellent and the service was great. Even the fellow loud, obnoxious patrons were tolerable...we had just come back from Disneyland so it was nothing compared. However, the smell throughout the whole restaurant was too much. It... More
I have tried Joe's in several cities and they are all great. This one surprised me because we went when it was a cold night and the place was packed. We were offered a table outside and they pointed out there were heaters out there. We took a chance and were warm and comfortable the whole time! The food was... More
We enjoyed the ambience...all of us wearing our bibs. We had a coupon for a free appetizer by joining their online newsletter...we had the crab dip which was really tasty. We both had crab combos: mine with prawns and sausage, my hubby had clams and sausage. We both really enjoyed our dinners and our server.
While I've driven past a few of them, this was the first time I had actually ever eaten in a Joe's Crab Shack. What I thought was going to perhaps a bit better than Red Lobster was actually alot worse. This was one of 3 restaurants right next to our hotel (the other 2 being Outback and Red Robin) so... More
Let's start with this - I hate crab. I was dragged here by my wife but ended up loving it. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was fun, the prices were reasonable. We stayed at Homewood Inn and Suites which is a few steps away. It was very convenient.
Visited Joe's Crab Shack for dinner for two. This was my first visit to this location, and my second visit to a Joe's period. I never returned before this visit because I found the value was poor. Since this Joe's was close, we decided to try it again. We ordered the baked lobster pot (2 lobsters, one small potato, one... More
We were on business and stopped here for supper. Great fru-fru drinks. It's loud and fun - lots of children and dancing and happy faces. Food was good and the waitstaff attentive despite the crowd. We were quickly served. Not such a good place to conduct business, but a fun place for a change of pace.
