Steak and Kidney Pie to Die for!

I travel to L.A. about once a month and no trip is complete without a visit to "The Ship" This is the closest thing to an actual 'old English' pub that you will find in America. When I visit UK the English Pub lunches are my mainstay. If you haven't enjoyed a true Stake and Kidney pie smothered... read more

I have eaten at the Olde Ship for many years. Our friends all have favorites like Rosemary's Chicken, Bangers & Mash, Corned Beef & Cabbage and Bread Pudding. My personal favorite is the Fish & Chips. You have your choice of Cod or Haddock. Cod is a little more expensive. The chips are delicious thick cut steak fries. The meal... More

The food was delicious, but I wish the ambience was a bit better. They are located right in downtown Fullerton so it is a great location but not the correct location. Other than that, I would go again.

We all had different stuff, but I liked my crab cakes with salad and good English thick-cut French fries.

We visited the restaurant based on trip advisor reviews. The fish and chips were good. The turkey sandwich was excellent and even the crab cake was good. Would have liked to have a bigger crab cake, but all in all the place met my expectation. The waiter was very friendly and efficient.

Food is fresh and hot, crispy outside and tender inside. Tartar sauce also great.

This place is a nice quiet place to go for lunch. Have not been there for dinner lately but I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys piecefulness.

For Valentine's Day 2015 we went out a day early to avoid the crowds on the 14th. We have eaten at the Olde Ship many times. We decided to try it for the first time in about a year, and the food and service for a busy Friday night were great. Had the prime rib and bangers and mash. Food... More
