This was our second time here and we did not enjoyed it as much as the first time. We started with the greek salad and at $8 it was a small portion and mostly unripe tomatoes with a few pieces of cucumbers and a little feta and hardly any dressing. We then had the lamb pita with a mountain of... More

Went to Kentro for a business lunch and WOW, what a surprise. A really cool shiek place with a Mediterranean flare. Now, being in the Mediterranean food business, I have had my fair share of Greek food and such, so it's pretty hard to impress me, but I was at Kentro to my surprise. I ordered dolmades for the table,... More

Lots of choices, great atmosphere. Loved the tomato and feta salad, the spanakapota(?), the bread, the elegance of the how it was laid out. A great place to stop while browsing the arty district, and right across from the bakery (delicious endings)

Like this place a lot, my wife & I recently tired it as guests of our friends, Bill & Joann....The food was different, very tasty, and of course we consumed a lot of beverages. We will revisit Kentros again in the near future. Only negative thing I can say is that the bar stools for the evevated dinning tables are... More

My mother and I were stuck at the Amtrak station which is within sight of this little restaurant, so we spent some time there waiting for our train. The food was excellent; the staff were helpful. Don't be put off by the kind of "chic" bar decorations - the food will make you happy.

My wife and I tried Kentro while on a business trip to the Anaheim/Fullerton area. She saw the reviews on Yelp and we thought it looked really good. Parking was easy in the big lot behind the restaurant (across from the train station). The place is "quick service" style - i.e. order at the counter, find a table and they... More

On my visit I had roast chicken, lemon potatoes and taramasalata. The taramasalata was smooth and rich but almost too salty to eat. The bread served with it wasn't the standard pita bread but rather a wonder rustic style italian/ french loaf. The inside of the bread was doughy and warm and the crust was "crusty" but not too hard.... More

The place is a bit overwhelming. Reminded me of being in Chicago for some reason. The staff with white shirts, suspenders, the walls covered in menu chalk, and a chic bar. Feels like it tries hard to be pretentious. Maybe they have reason... the food was fantastic. Had the Lamb Pita with the Pork pita dressings. Very flexible with customizing... More

After returning from a Mediterranean cruise some time ago, I was thinking of meals we enjoyed in Crete and Greece and happened to see an ad for Kentro. Went for lunch on a Saturday and really enjoyed it. Its small but has pleasing modern/euro, clean decor. We ordered at the counter and then found a table. I love the menu... More

I found this place via a random web search, and driving past I thought I had made a mistake. As soon as I went inside I could feel the buzz and the atmosphere and hear all the conversations going on at once. I had to fight my way past the bar to get to where i could order. The menu... More
