amazing chef prepares the most delicious meals ever. The bread pudding is to die for. I had a short rib and almost died and went to heaven.

The service was excellent. The flavors were complex and layered from our specialty cocktails to our main courses. Carlos, who has extensive knowledge of cocktails was able to make us something truly special and to our liking from the bar. Vegan and vegetarian guests please be sure to ask your server for something that can be prepared off-menu. I did... More

DELICIOUS! Absolutely worth every penny... Cannot wait to go back. Eggplant Napolean and Bread Pudding are to die for! Great plane to celebrate any occasion!

The entire experience was pleasant. We started off with cocktails that included small batch liquor, expertly mixed and poured. The appetizer, meal and dessert were all wonderful and we weren't rushed to eat our meal, although the place was packed. The dim lighting is flattering on everyone, but the food is the star!

Had a big build up prior to going to this restaurant. Hostess was not overly friendly, somewhat pretentious. Waiteress delivered a monologue of her menu specials allowing for no questions and appeared to always be in a hurry. Very noisy, not a place for a quiet evening dinner. Food was not up to the standard expected. The Scallops ordered had... More

Our first visit to Cracked Pepper...but definitely not our last. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who took us to our table. We decided to sit outside, even though it was rainy and cold. They converted their outside seating area into an enclosed warm (several heat lamps) area. The service, ambiance, and food was wonderful. My wife had the... More

Very likely Fresno's finest restaurant. The service and ambiance were without flaw throughout our excellent visit. Seafood soup and Caesar salad were almost enough of a meal by themselves. The crab cakes were among my favorites ever. My steak and my wife's pappardelle were melt in your mouth perfect. Bread pudding is a must, even if you need to get... More

I dined for the first time at Cracked Pepper Bistro on December 2 in a foursome. (It should be noted here that the restaurant is no longer located on Shaw Avenue; it's a Palm and Herndon and has been for some time) My wife and I arrived before our guests and waited at the bar. Nice long bar where we... More

Jesus said " Salt is good: but if the salt have lost its saltness, wherewith will ye season it?" this spiritual reference speaks about the Divine grace in your food that warms the heart, providing an awaking of the simple Menu with plated art work, your offerings in culinary digestions has over whelmed me and my friends. The ambience, the quality of food and service is exceptional. Try the eggplant appetizer!! Delicious and big enough to be a meal, great for sharing. My favorite is the bread pudding for dessert, made with croissants and cheese danish, what could be better. Amazing restaurant to have in Fresno.
