I work in a restaurant in Fresno and I am ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) certified and World Sports Cafe was only protecting their restaurant by refusing to sell alcohol to a person carrying only a passport as their identification. As a server/bartender, we are unable to serve alcoholic beverages to a person unless they have a valid state identification card... more

Management refused to serve myself and my wife on the basis that I did not hold any identification showing American residence. I had my Irish passport as identification and on seeing this the barman was delighted to tell me that my passport was no good at the 'world' sports cafe and I would have to hold American Identification. more

My family and I have eaten at this location several times and each time we have been disappointed with the quality of the food especially when considering the prices.
