High ratings swayed us to try Parma while we were in Fresno. Our experience did NOT concur with better than average scores! The restaurant is in a nice location and the evening allowed for an outdoor dining experience. We were seated promptly... and then... we waited. And waited.... The service was quite a bunch slower than I am accustomed to.... More

If you're reading this because you're considering visiting Parma - then do. Just do; you'll thank me later. My family and I (travelling from abroad) stumbled upon Parma almost by accident. Upon entering, the owner and chef, Elena, came and shook each of our hands (!), then personally made sure we got a nice table. Elena checked on us regularly... More

I can really imagine why some people would not like this place most people in Fresno are not used to Italian or at least get out more often, all they know is the olive trash. But going into my review, as soon as my friend and I walked in the owner came to our table and explained the menu and... More

After a long day traveling we felt right at home in the company of the lovely owner. We immediately got a handshake the moment we stepped in. An impeccable service accompanied by excellent food! We couldn't have wished for anything better than great appetizers, fresh pasta and such a warmhearted woman who ran the restaurant. She took our interests at heart... More

I had read the reviews and still thought... Right, but Fresno? We booked a table for last Friday night late and walked in to this beautiful happening space and met one of the reasons for the great reviews. Elena. She is the real deal. Warm, passionate about her food and authentic. I was ready to eat and drink. First came... More

A genuine piece of Italy in the middle if California. The chef is from Parma, and she is cooking great Italian food, like you could find it in Italy. A very good service together with this high quality food made the experience very enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We loved Parma. The food and service are both fabulous. Having traveled several times to Italy, we can attest that the food is truly authentic and as good as you will find in the mother country. Highly recommend the option to try three of their homemade pastas. Our server was also very nice and extremely knowledgeable. The owner came by... More
