After reading a review of this restaurant in our local paper, we visited Batter Up Pancakes for a late breakfast this morning. We had an all around great experience! It was busy at 11AM and we waited about 15 minutes. We were immediately greeted by friendly, courteous staff and this was also true of our server and the owners who... More

We were visiting from England and decided we wanted to eat out for breakfast. We were taken to Batter up Pancakes. When we arrived we had to wait an hour to get a table, once seated we were told you had to go upto the tills to place your order. Knowing what the portion sizes in America are like, I... More

We have visited many times before but today we wondered at the empty parking lot during lunch hour. Very shortly we figured out the answer. Prices have gone up quite a bit and there's no more waiting on yourself. Those two things alone added quite a bit onto our bill. There was a tip jar before which we stuck a... More

I decided to take a long detour after reading the great reviews for this place but I was quite disappointed. I ordered the omelette with a pancake. The pancake was delicious but the omelette was swimming in a sea of oil! I was not able to eat it. My husband ordered an omelette also and it was the same situation.... More

The portions in this restaurant are huge, but they are also very expensive. $10 for one pancake is a bit steep, but the pancake is the size of a normal plate.

When we arrived in the late morning, there was a line and a 45 minute wait. It's a popular place. You are shown to your table, but order at the counter. I had french toast, two eggs and bacon. My friends had the 1-2-3, one pancake, two eggs and bacon or sausages. The french toast (3 slices of toast) was... More

Been to this place before but this time my family went because we got a special card from the sporting event that we attended over the weekend. My son did a bike race mid-morning so we arrived at Batter Up right at their peak hour.....the wait was 40 to 45 minutes...this gave us time to browse the menu and socialize... More

"Batter Up" may not be the best restaurant in Fresno, but it certainly the best for breakfast for miles around. Thy used to be located within walking distance so it was a big disappointment when they relocated across town. It is now a several mile drive, but well worth it. The food is excellent and the portions are huge. The... More

We ate here based on the reviews from tripadvisor and were glad we did! I ordered a caprese omelette, open faced with fantastic basil pesto, fresh tomatoes and prosciutto. I had a whole grain blue cornmeal pancake and a side of fruit. The pancake was really good but way too big! I would recommend it if you really are a... More

03/26/13 Found this while browsing TripAdvisor. I will surely go back when we are in town. The staff is very friendly, the place is very clean and there is lots of food, The wife even shared an Omelet and pancake. The price is right. Be prepared to wait as a lot of people know how good it is. I think... More
