We are a full service restaurant, with table service. We use real eggs for our omelets with nothing but fresh ingredients inside them. Our buttermilk pancakes are NOT made with a mix. We use actual buttermilk, eggs, butter, vanilla... We are kid friendly and encourage people to bring their children to color on our big dry erase wall. We have fun and love making friends with our customers. We're not fancy. Don't claim to be fancy and don't want to be fancy. Best pancakes ever!!!

Our hotel provided a mediocre looking breakfast so we consulted tripadvisor and found Batter Up. We are from England so over sweet, sickly sugary foods are not what we are used to. A great family run breakfast place in Fresno. Do not walk but run to Batter Up, you will need to walk off the calories after your breakfast. Highly recommended!

These are the best pancakes I've ever had, soft and fluffy on the inside with a light crunch on the outside. The coffee was hot and strong, just right. The waitress was very helpful as we tried to decide from this extensive menu and the owner even came over for a chat. We're visiting family so will bring them all... More

Not quite understanding the rave reviews. I experienced complacent service, overly warm inside, high prices and they are just pancakes no better or different than you can get at IHOP. Ok they are local and we do support our local businesses but not more than once.

We visit Fresno from Napa county on a regular basis, as our daughter is a student at Fresno State. We have eaten here 5 or 6 times, usually on Saturday. The food is good quality, the menu diverse and the service doesn't miss a beat. The downside is that you can count on an hour-long wait to be seated. The... More

We were in high hopes of having a delicious meal upon visiting this place. I had the protein pancake and a two egg omelet. My friend had the blintz and hash browns. One thing that surprised me is that syrup is served cold. Warm syrup is a must for me especially in a fairly expensive pancake restaurant. I did get... More

This place is usually crowded and has a wait, and for a good reason. The food is really good. I usually get the 1, 2, 3 which is a pancake ( huge, taking up the whole plate), two eggs, and three strips of bacon (or sausage). I can eat it and not eat again until dinner time. The servers are... We had family visiting and we wanted to take them to a local place for breakfast. We read the reviews and we thought we would give Batter Up a try. It was almost 11 so we thought there would hardly be any line. When we got there, the wait was at least 45 minutes. 45 minutes after, we were perusing... More

The gluten free pancakes were awesome! Too bad we didn't plan our return trip to include another stop; I would have gotten a stack to go. My friend had "the best omelet" he's ever eaten.
